An expectant mother is in need of basic items for a newborn due later this month (May). The mother's community health coach requested an infant car seat, diapers, wipes. These items will allow the child safe transport and will supply the baby's diapering needs for a few weeks. We still need funds for the CARSEAT, WIPES, and DIAPERS. Foster mom has anywhere between 3 and 5 teenagers in her home at any given time. She works will all of her placements on independent living skills to include helping them get jobs and extra curriculars. Currently she has a 13 year old and 16 year old girl that would really benefit from bikes. The 16 year old is currently walking about a mile each way for work and a bike would significantly help in maintain this job. Additionally, the 16 year old helps watch the 13 year old over school breaks so a bike for each girl would be used during this time. Their foster mom has paid for them to have a gym membership that is within biking distance but she is not always available to transport them. Thank you!

Youth is working on their independent living skills and is needing a bike so that he can get to and from his summer job. This bike would also improve this child's life by providing transportation to the gym while his kinship providers are at work.

A single mother of two girls 15yo and 7yo, has just recently lost her job, unexpectedly. Mom has no family that is able to help with covering bills. Moms car has recently broken down so she is having difficulty with transportation. She lives in section 8 housing and needs help paying water bill and rent payment. Mom has recently received a job offer and will start work soon. Mom and her family would greatly benefit from help bridging the gap between employment. Thank you for your consideration.

We are celebrating Foster Care Awareness / Appreciation month by hosting a FREE POOL PARTY at River Country Water Parks in Muskogee Oklahoma. We will be inviting current foster and adoptive families from 10+ counties surrounding the Muskogee area to attend. In addition to the pool party, we will be offering information to families of local resources and churches that they can connect with as well as dates for summer activities for VBS and children / youth camps that churches are participating in and inviting children to come to.

The party will be Saturday, May 31st from 6:30-8:30pm with capacity being roughly 700-800 individuals. We will have an RSVP process for the families. We are asking for our networking churches to contribute to the cost of renting the water facility out - $1,200. Any amount helps! The client requests insulation for the roofing project she is working on for her RV. The roof is needing to be completely replaced, down to the insulation. She is so excited at the possibility of having some assistance purchasing the things needed to complete the projects needing to be done to make her home livable and comfortable. She has been very proactive in bettering her life for herself and her young daughter and is on fire for the Lord.

Family is in need of help in the form of a grocery store gift card who is in great need and well deserving! Here is their story: A cousin has been caring for 3 kids on our case, ages 8, 9, and 16. This cousin is also very young, but she has been doing an amazing job caring for these kids for quite some time now. She makes sure they attend school and also monitors the 16-year old's newly diagnosed diabetes. The last few months have been very stressful and difficult, and any help would be greatly appreciated by the family.

We have a beautiful family that arrived here a few years ago from Afghanistan. often the women have to take the children with to stores and other places. this women just had another child and a double stroller to help with a newborn and a 2 year old would be a huge blessing! we give gently used, clean ones - or you could purchase one. t

After 25 years of faithfully serving students and teachers in Orange County, one of our longtime Saddleback Church members is now facing the heartbreaking reality of potential homelessness. She is a compassionate, devoted college professor and mentor with a clear anointing on her life. Due to a sharp decline in student teacher enrollment, her income has been drastically reduced. Yesterday, she received a 3-day pay-or-quit notice and urgently needs $900 in rental assistance to avoid becoming homeless by this Friday. Next month she will begin receiving income from new jobs and expects to cover her rent going forward. However, she needs support to make it through May. She is single woman who lost her only child years ago; she has no family to turn to only her church family. With a Doctorate and Master’s in Education and a BS in Mathematics, she has dedicated her life to mentoring future teachers and guiding students in challenging STEM subjects. Her mission has always been to help students discover their God-given talents and pursue meaningful careers. Since 2012, she has also served faithfully in several Saddleback ministries. As National Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, let’s show support and gratitude to this sister in Christ who has poured so much into others. A church member has a college student, at New River Community College, in a class that is currently homeless along with his father. His father broke both his arms in a work accident due to faulty equipment. Since he is unable to work and the company has put a hold on workers compensation until July they are in need of assistance. The father is unable to work at least until he has surgery on both arms. Their current needs are food and gas for him to get back and forth to work and school.
