This support would allow her grandson to participate fully in a safe, enriching summer camp experience while also helping Jacqueline maintain financial stability as she continues to meet the needs of her kinship placement.

The request is being submitted due to the family's current economic hardship. The mother serves as the primary caregiver for both the children and the father, who along with managing ongoing medical conditions. As the main provider for the household, the mother is facing increased difficulty meeting the family's needs. The family would greatly benefit from receiving new blankets, bedsheets, and pillowcases, as well as essential medical equipment, including a reverse walker for the father and two children, and a tub transfer bench to support safe bathing. These items will help improve the family's daily functioning and quality of life given their physical challenges.

Family includes 2 parents, a 4 month old baby and a 6 year old boy. Family lives in an RV on the mesa and needs a portable air conditioner or fan. It is extremely hot in the RV and the baby has developed a rash under her chin, on her neck from the heat.

A kinship family recently took placement of their two young grandsons, providing them with the stability and love they desperately need. However, like many relatives who step in during times of crisis, they were not financially prepared for the sudden addition of two growing boys to their household.

At the moment, both children are sharing a single queen bed, which is not a sustainable or comfortable long-term solution. Each child needs their own bed—a space of their own to rest, grow, and feel secure. Separate beds will not only support the children's physical and emotional well-being, but also help preserve the stability of this new family arrangement.

I am currently assisting a mother who is caring for her one-year-old and newborn child. This mother has a total of ten children and previously lost custody of eight due to a long history of substance misuse. She began using methamphetamines at the age of 14 and experienced chronic homelessness for many years. However, this mother has made significant strides in turning her life around. She has been clean and sober for the past two years and has had no new referrals or child welfare involvement since the birth of her one-year-old in 2023. During this time, she has resided at the Navigation Center and women’s shelters while working closely with the CSET Housing Program. Through her hard work and commitment to stability, she recently secured permanent housing and received the keys to her new apartment in Lindsay on May 30, 2025. This is a rare and commendable case of a mother overcoming significant barriers and achieving sustained sobriety and stability. Any support provided to her would be met with immense gratitude and would greatly contribute to her ongoing success and the well-being of her children. Thank you for your consideration and support. This family we have helped before. She was removed from an abusive home and moved into Covington with her children and has struggled to make ends meet. Her apartment is now asking her to leave, but she has secured a place in Clifton but needs help moving some things to her new place. She has 2 children and has a very hard medical diagnosis that has been keeping her bills high. She will need a truck or trailer to haul some things. I have this valued at $10 because it's not really a monetary need. She has also requested to have someone sit with her to help her work out her financial budget. She is really doing her hardest to take care of her family.

Single mother of two was recently laid off due to her not having childcare. The mother was taken five-year-old child to work with her to continue to make ends meet. She is a recent divorce, and former husband is not willing to help. Family is facing eviction June 25, 2025, if mother doesn’t pay pass due rent ($1,192) and late fees.
