Bruckner House is a family homeless shelter requesting assistance with fullfilling a request for a Mother Day Tea Party. We have 85 mothers in our facility and a total of 150 children who reside here. I want to bring to life the tea party vision I had to show the mothers appreciation, hope, love, and compassion. So I am requesting food items and desserts that will compliment the party, small gift bags for the moms, and beverages.

Family is struggling with multiple pets in the home, living in an older apartment complex (old carpet) and struggling financially. Caseworkers that visited the home have noticed that family is really making an effort in trying to clean, declutter, and make apartment in better condition for children in the home. However, Caseworkers noticed that there is still an odor and wondered if an air purifier type device might help and make the environment better for all in the household.

Two year old girl came into custody due to neglect. The child's great aunt stepped up to provide placement for the child and they are in need of a toddler bed to give the child a safe place to sleep.

A single mother, working full-time serving expecting mother's, is in need of some household cleaning supplies and fresh produce to help ensure a healthy and safe environment for her two babies at home. In addition to working and serving mom's to-be full-time, she also attends parent cafes to expand her knowledge and skills as a parent! This mother is so committed to caring not only for her own children, but also to families all over the community. She is simply asking for a few grocery items to help make sure her baby's bellies are full and that they have a clean environment to grow up in!

Mother is looking for:

• Cleaning items for household (dish soap, toilet bowl cleaner, disinfectant spray, window cleaner, air freshener)
• Grocery items (specifically fresh produce)

Hello! Me again from I Am Next...as a reminder, our nonprofit works with youth who have aged out of foster care. We have been working hard the last couple of months on gathering paperwork from about 40 kids to help them receive housing vouchers, specifically one called the Foster Youth to Independence housing voucher. The voucher approvals finally started coming this week, and we are able to start moving our young adults into our apartment complex for them to have their own studio apartment. Several of them are coming in with what is on their backs and several have been homeless before having this stability. We are in need of collecting bedding for them now. The apartments come with full size beds so we need the following: full size bedding including sheets, comforters, and pillows. We would love to try and collect 20-25 sets but we will take whatever anyone wants to give. Thank you all so much!

Please help us to meet the need for a powered mower. We have an adult son thriving in our recovery community who provides care for his aging mother. He is reestablishing a life in sobriety and she is on a fixed income, so their resources are limited. They're currently unable to mow her lawn. Thank you blessing this family!

2 senior individuals with disabilities were placed in protective custody due to living conditions exploitation sexual and physical abuse. We are asking for help with community resources that may be able to assist these 2 elderly disabled individuals with mentorship, gift cards for local fastfood due to where they were placed they only have access to a microwave. Any financial assistance would greatly be appreciated to ensure securement of their room at motel until further placement arrangements can be made. What we are needing is..

1. Financial assistance for motel for approx. 1 month and transportation
2. Resources for food,clothing,mentorship transportation,housing
3. fast food gift cards so these 2 individuals can have at least 1 hot meal.

A member of Doxa shared a request where they would benefit in having another bed since they assist their neighbor kids while their mom works doubles to make ends meet. Having a bed will allow her to serve the kids in having their own space when they spend the evenings over.

We are in urgent need of funding to purchase two mattresses (we highly recommend with waterproof covers) for a foster family who is working to get siblings placed in their home. As part of the placement transition, they will be hosting the children for some overnight visits soon and they have worked to purchase beds for their home. As a result, they are asking for help in purchasing the mattresses to put on the beds due to the sudden financial strain. These kids will be looking to make this home a permanent placement, so these items would be for use long into the future. Mom is in need of two window air conditioner units for her apartment. Currently, the children are not able to sleep in their rooms because of the temperature (either too hot in the summer or no heat in the winter). Mom also needs a twin size mattress for a bedframe that she has for her daughter.
