This sweet mama has been faithfully walking with us in the parenting program, doing her best to care for her two precious little ones—a lively 4-year-old boy and a curious 2-year-old girl. Recently, her little girl figured out how to climb out of her crib, and as you can imagine, that has brought some big safety concerns for mom. She’s been feeling anxious and wants to make sure her daughter has a safer, more secure sleep setup. Right now, she’s hoping for help in securing a twin bed for her toddler—something that gives her peace of mind and helps her little one rest safely. HiAgain is providing the twin bed for this toddler, and all that needs to be done is delivery. This little family just moved in to a new apartment as well and could use the the encouragement of the local church to feel welcome in her new community.

The mother is on her own with her 5-month-old son. She has limited resources and is trying to figure out how to balance her new baby and how to get income. She is currently out of a job. Her apartment doesn't have air conditioning and must rely on a faulty window unit. She has said she can make it work with some box fans if an air conditioner is not available. Her son is growing faster than she can get clothes for and wants to try and get his next size up as he has already outgrown his current clothes. The child will need 9 month old baby boy clothes.

We are looking for volunteers to come to Sarasota Christian Church's building on Sat, July 26th from 4:30-8:15 pm to watch kids (ages birth-12 yrs old) while their parents have some time to themselves. Pizza will be provided to all volunteers. Dress comfortably as we usually go outside at some point.

We are urgently requesting support for a mother who has just fled a dangerous domestic violence situation with her two children--a 13-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. She left everything behind in order to escape from her abusive husband and is now in hiding at a discreet, temporary location for the safety of herself and her children. She has a place of refuge willing to receive her out of town, but they are awaiting safe transport arrangements. Until then, she is without any support, money, or access to basic necessities. She is in immediate need of: Food, Pull-Ups (size 3T), baby wipes, Personal care items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.) This mother is doing everything she can to protect her children and survive. She has no resources and nowhere else to turn at this moment. Please if you can help in any way now is the time. This is not just a need. It's a Lifeline.

A disabled single mother of two teenage boys needs utility assistance to ensure that the family has access to running water. The mother is currently unemployed, but is actively looking for employment. The mother utilizes her income from disability to cover rent and other utility expenses. Helping the family cover the utility expense will ensure that they can continue to have access to running water.

A family recently had to flee their family home and move into an apartment to escape domestic violence. They are starting over and need basic cleaning items, household items, toiletries, and grocery items. A Walmart gift card would greatly assist this family. Any donation is appreciated.

Single mother is in the process of moving into more affordable housing and working to improve her financial situation. She is experiencing major health issues which make it difficult for her to work and support her middle school aged daughter. She could use some help with some utility bills this month.

Request Details: A single mother of three children (ages 3 to 8) is facing an extremely difficult season. Her 8-year-old son was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is undergoing treatment, which required her to resign from her job in order to care for him full-time.

She is also currently expecting twins (a boy and a girl) and does not have any baby items or support prepared for their arrival. The financial strain of her son’s illness and loss of income has left her unable to pay her rent and utilities, now totaling $2,000, and she is at immediate risk of becoming homeless.
