I am working with a family that expressed a need for a twin size bed/mattress for their family. There are three children, 5, 3 and 1 year old. The 5 year old is sleeping in a toddler bed, the 3 year old is in a crib and the one year old is sleeping in a pack n play that has several large rips. Wanting to ensure a safe sleeping environment for all children, the family is requesting a twin bed for the oldest so the 3 year old can use the toddler bed and the youngest can transition to the crib. 

This is a 7-member family: 1 single mother and 6 children. The mother is on a fixed income and has recently been approved for a new home with her housing voucher. She is needing a few additional funds for the deposit. With the additional funds for a deposit, it will help the family be in a safe community.

This is a 7-member household; A single mother with 6 kids. All six children are needing summer clothing because they are outgrowing their current clothing. The mother is on a fixed income and is trying to save as much money as possible for their new home. Once the children have new clothing, the mother can scratch that off her plate and focus on the next things needed for her family.

Child came into states custody for neglect. The child was in wrestling at his old school and would like to join at the new school. The child was advised to go to the camp. The placement providers have 6 children in the home after taking in this child and two of the child's siblings. Funds are tight and they are unable to send him to wrestling camp.

I have a grandmother who is currently caring for her 9 grandchildren. The grandmother needs assistance with ensuring that each child has a proper place to sleep. The grandmother needs 3 twin size beds or two bunk beds to accommodate her grandchildren. Please help this grandmother as she is not receiving financial assistance from the parents to care for the children. No child deserves to sleep on the floor.

Grace Chruch Family, a need in the community has come to our attention that we would like to help with. A mom needs help with an electric bill. She has 3 children ages 6, 2, and 5 months. The baby was born early and this has caused her to get behind on several bills. Thank you for any amount you feel led to fund.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
