A kinship caregiver is placement for two teenage girls, ages 15 and 13. She is requesting assistance with groceries, as she just had to put money down on a new home.

I have a family in Wooster that needs help organizing a very cluttered home. The kitchen lacks storage space. I am looking for a tall pantry or cabinet with shelving and/or drawers. Money is very limited as they have four small children and neither parent is bringing in an income, due to medical reasons. I would love to help mom organize her kitchen so that she can have some weight lifted off her shoulders. This cabinet will hold pots and pans and baking sheets, among other kitchen items (if large enough.)

Pregnant mother of an amazing 4-year-old is separating from an abusive situation with the birthfather. Mom is due with 2nd child within the next few weeks (June). Mom has a safe place to live with a family member and is working hard on getting herself in a position to be independent but has several barriers. Mom is unable to get a job (she is pregnant and due any day), she does not have a car and is dependent on a family member for transportation, has been financially dependent on birthfather for years and is building her strengths and independence now. There is a list of immediate needs for the new baby such as a bassinet (any style will work, mom would love it if it had a storage basket or shelf underneath for nighttime changes. In addition, if there is someone who would like to wrap around this mom and assist with transportation to/from dr visits, therapy appointments while also building a friendship of support, that would be GREAT. Mom lives in Lakeside and appointments are in Kalispell. This mom is a wonderful woman who could use another friend to support her during this very challenging time.

We’re asking for the funds to cover the cost of school shirts with the CCA logo, so every student can start the year strong. Every student receives 3-5 shirts so that they can be in dress code on a daily basis.

A family is struggling to be able to afford the special formula their infant must have. Both parents work and have WIC but unfortunately WIC is only contracted with Similac. The infant needs Reguline Enfamil with each can costing $40 for 19.5 oz. Without assistance, they will be unable to provide the formula this infant needs to thrive.

I’m reaching out today to ask for help for a strong, resilient, loving mother of a 15-year-old boy, a 2-year-old little boy, and a precious 7-month-old baby girl. For the last four years, this family lived in a one-bedroom apartment in Kerman, dealing with heartbreaking conditions. The apartment was infested with roaches and had black mold growing in the walls — an unsafe, unhealthy place for anyone, let alone for children. Despite paying high rent to a neglectful landlord who refused to make things right, they had no choice but to stay because it was all they could afford.

Recently, this Mom was finally able to relocate her family to a new apartment in Sanger. But with the move came another hard decision — she had to throw away nearly everything they owned because it was too infested and damaged to take with them. They left behind beds, furniture, kitchenware, and even the baby’s belongings. Now, this family is starting over with almost nothing, and we’re hoping to rally our community to help them rebuild their home and give these children the safe, clean, and loving space they deserve.

A mother has lost custody of these children, and they are staying with an aunt. They have all been abused. The children only have a few clothes that the aunt has bought them, no toys, and very little toiletries.
