On July 17th, the Department of Children's Services and various local community partners are hosting the 2025 high school graduation celebration for youth impacted by the foster care system in West Tennessee. For many of these students, graduation is not a guaranteed milestone—yet this year, we are proud to celebrate approximately 50 graduates who have overcome significant challenges to walk the stage and receive their diplomas. This event is more than a ceremony—it’s a moment of recognition, encouragement, and hope. To help make this day even more special, we are seeking door prizes to gift to these incredible young people. These prizes will serve as tokens of support and inspiration as they take their next steps into adulthood, whether that be college, vocational training, the workforce, or other life paths.

A Mother of 3 is looking for a sing full sized bed for one of her children and a dining room table that seats 4 people for her kitchen to help furnish her apartment. Theis will help support sleeping arrangements and for the family to be able to sit down and socialize during idnners

This family is a kinship family. Grandmom is taking care of her granddaughter and working fulltime as well. Grandmom's house caught on fire and is currently being renovated. Due to the fire grandmom lost important items. The house renovations are set to be complete by the end of May 2025! She is in DIRE need of an ELECTRIC STOVE once renovations are complete.

We are in need of a "grow with me chair" for a medically fragile on year old child. This child would benefit from this seat, because it can be used for many years. The family can adapt it as their needs change.

A single mom is in need of help with her childs birthday. She is unable to provide a cake, presents and cupcakes for school. She is also in need of a full size bedding for his bed. She would be greatly appreciative of any help. The child wants a new pair of Nike sneakers for his birthday.

Family is in need of a hot water tank. There are two children in the home ages 10 and 15. They have a 40 gallon gas water tank that needs to be repaired or replaced.

Good morning, friends. I have been made aware of a young woman who is 7 1/2 months into a high-risk pregnancy, who has a connection with someone in our church. Part of what she is struggling with is that one of the twins she is carrying passed away quite early in the pregnancy. She has also been in and out of the hospital with various infections, but the baby is fine. She had to quit her job so she has no income and is also not physically able to get out to purchase what she needs. She is being supported emotionally by the baby's father and her parents, but they do not have the means to equip a nursery. If you have ANY baby items taking up space that you would be willing to part with or can help provide any of the items listed, it would be so encouraging and greatly appreciated by them all. She is having a girl and they do have some clothes. I do not expect all of these items to be provided, but I am just throwing out ideas. Thank you so much!

Due to unexpected circumstances, this newly married couple and family of 3 needed to find a place to live. With deposits and moving fees, it leaves them still in need of a refrigerator, washer, and dryer.
