CFCE is working closely with this caregiver who is doing her best to provide a safe and nurturing environment for a 2 year old girl and her newborn brother. The toddler is in need of a size 4 diapers and wipes. Would you consider stepping in to meet this need? A simple gift of diapers and wipes could provide some financial relief for the caregiver who is not receiving any funding at this time.

Lumpkin County is working with a family who is struggling to maintain housing due to the amount of money they have had to spend on treatment for the mother. They have a small child and are desperately trying to keep the child in their home.

This is a family living in public housing where air conditioning is not provided. This is a 2-parent home with a toddler and a baby on the way. Dad recently lost his job and is having difficulty making ends meet. Mom is unable to work since she cares for the toddler and is currently pregnant. With the temperatures heating up outside, their apartment is starting to get very hot and uncomfortable. They would really like to have an air conditioning window unit so the mom can be comfortable during her pregnancy and the toddler will be able to sleep comfortably at night.

An aunt has custody of her (4) nieces and nephews. She is currently having some financial hardships due to not getting as many hours at work the last 3 weeks. The aunt reports that her hours are going to be increased back to normal next week. Their electricity is currently cut off due to not being able to pay the bill. She is needing assistant with paying to get her electricity cut back on.

A 16 year old male and siblings came into state custody due to severe substance abuse by his mother that endangered the children. The children were able to be placed with relatives. Family members took in the 16 year old and are in need of a couple of items to help prepare their home to be licensed as a foster home. They need a 5 lb. fire extinguisher and a large medication lock box.

A mom with a child with special needs mentioned that she was without basic clothing and personal hygiene items impacting her ability to work and provide for her family. These items would help this mom be able to provide for her family.

Due to unexpected circumstances, this newly married couple and family of 3 needed to find a place to live. With deposits and moving fees, it leaves them still in need of a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. Please consider helping get this family on their feet so they can care for their precious 2-year-old daughter the best way possible.

Foster Care Awareness Month is here and around 6,000 children are in the Oklahoma foster care system on any given day. All though we care about each one of these amazing kids we want to come alongside those that are in our community to ensure that they know they are loved, supported, and have community.

All though we may not be able to solve the foster care crisis state wide we can solve it in our community. One easy step in doing this is by supporting the foster families that have stepped up on behalf of these precious children. We are working to get 25 care totes prepared for the 25 Foster families that are in our area. These totes are a small example of how we can help support them as they go into the summer months and resources are limited. This is a community opportunity for churches, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to make a difference. Everyone can do something and together we can make a difference.

The items that you provide can be dropped of at ReaLove in Miami May 22nd & June 5th from 1 PM - 4 PM so that the Care Totes can be assembled and distributed to the families in June.

For the first time ever, between CBC Middle School and High School Camp, we have 14 Neighbor's Ministry Students who would like to attend. This is a record number. Every one of them is a the child of an amazing Single Mom who is either working their tail off to provide for their family, or in two cases, facing serious health issues.

Our Neighbor's Ministry students have been super committed this year to attending Tutoring and/or Bible Study. Many of the Mom's are involved in our Neighbor's Mom's Bible Study as well. This is a HUGE answer to prayer as we have been working to go deeper with the Gospel with our families. However, we were not prepared for the amount of scholarships we would need this year and did not budget for it. In order to be good stewards of our budget and to give them a potentially life changing experience, would you help us cover the cost of sending them to Camp with CBC Student Ministry this summer?

I am convinced that including them in this experience an make a tremendous impact is a testament to the collaboration between Neighbor's and Study Ministry over the past few years. Our heart is that they would come to know Jesus and to be involved and discipled by both our Neighbor's Ministry and Student Ministry strengthening their Christian community and support.

Wether it is $5 or $500, every penny goes to the cost of them attending camp.
