3 children emergency removed from home due to complete lack of supervision. The baby is still in the NICU, but the two 2 year olds have no beds. The children were removed from the home with only the clothes on their backs. The children are in emergency placement with the aunt, uncle and grandma. 2 toddler beds with bedding are needed ASAP. One girl and one boy, both sweet, high needs, and finally in the loving home they deserve.

The mother has three children and is currently pregnant with her fourth. She is currently not working and does not have transportation to complete daily tasks for herself or her children. The mother is requesting to have a portable washing machine, which will come in handy to have in the home once she delivers. Currently the mother Ubers to a local laundry mat to wash the clothes for her household. However, once she delivers, she will be limited to outings as she recovers from her delivery. The mother’s support system is limited as she has relocated to Tampa from Tallahassee. It would bring greater peace, and an ease of mind to continue supporting her household with the portable washing machine. Otherwise, the mother would need to travel by Uber/Lyft to the local laundry mat with the clothes, a newborn and her 3 other children potentially once she is out for the summer. (A set of 5-year-old twins, and a 7-year-old).

The client is a 33-year-old single parent of three children and is currently one month postpartum. She faces significant financial challenges due to unemployment and cannot meet her ongoing financial obligations. While the client is highly motivated to seek employment, she intends to do so once her newborn is a few months old. In the interim, the client has been referred for case management services to access necessary resources. Receiving support through CarePortal's case management services will provide the client with essential resources, including a stroller to facilitate neighborhood walks, promoting physical and emotional well-being. Also, the assistance will enable the client to access virtual case management sessions by addressing resources. This support will also help alleviate some of the client's financial stress by contributing toward clothing and utility expenses. Options for Women, Help for Families has a young, pregnant mom with a 2 yr old daughter living in an unsafe environment. She has a place to go if she leaves the situation, but no vehicle to get back and forth to work. She has some money for a down payment but if anyone has a reliable car they have been thinking of donating or decreasing the price on it would make a huge difference in their lives. Please prayerfully consider helping this sweet lady, her unborn baby and her daughter be able to be safe.

A godmother is placement for her godson, aged 18 months. She is requesting a crib for him to sleep in, to help follow safe sleep.

Good morning, friends. I have been made aware of a young woman who is 7 1/2 months into a high-risk pregnancy, who has a connection with someone in our church. Part of what she is struggling with is that one of the twins she is carrying passed away quite early in the pregnancy. She has also been in and out of the hospital with various infections, but the baby is fine. She had to quit her job so she has no income and is also not physically able to get out to purchase what she needs. She is being supported emotionally by the baby's father and her parents, but they do not have the means to equip a nursery. If you have ANY baby items taking up space that you would be willing to part with or can help provide any of the items listed, it would be so encouraging and greatly appreciated by them all. She is having a girl and they do have some clothes. I do not expect all of these items to be provided, but I am just throwing out ideas. Thank you so much!

A mom with a child with special needs mentioned that she was without basic clothing and personal hygiene items impacting her ability to work and provide for her family. These items would help this mom be able to provide for her family.

Due to unexpected circumstances, this newly married couple and family of 3 needed to find a place to live. With deposits and moving fees, it leaves them still in need of a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. Foster Care Awareness Month is here and around 6,000 children are in the Oklahoma foster care system on any given day. All though we care about each one of these amazing kids we want to come alongside those that are in our community to ensure that they know they are loved, supported, and have community.

All though we may not be able to solve the foster care crisis state wide we can solve it in our community. One easy step in doing this is by supporting the foster families that have stepped up on behalf of these precious children. We are working to get 25 care totes prepared for the 25 Foster families that are in our area. These totes are a small example of how we can help support them as they go into the summer months and resources are limited. This is a community opportunity for churches, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to make a difference. Everyone can do something and together we can make a difference.

The items that you provide can be dropped of at ReaLove in Miami May 22nd & June 5th from 1 PM - 4 PM so that the Care Totes can be assembled and distributed to the families in June.
