We have a parent working on maintaining sobriety. She is currently struggling with regular transportation, and all other resources have been exhausted. Client is seeking support in transportation costs to maintain regular attendance for treatment meetings and random UAs.

Client doesn’t live in an area that buses serve and is not in a physical condition to walk to a bus stop.

Mom of four children had to leave her rental due to mold. As it is being repaired, she placed all the children's clothing and shoes in her car. She went to Walmart on 5/21 and the car, with all the clothing inside, was stolen. She made a police report but is now facing the problem with clothing her four children. There are 3 girls, ages 16, 15 and 11 and one boy age 13. They are still in school & desperately need clothing & shoes. They would be happy with donated clothing or whatever the community can provide.

The 16-year-old girl wears size XL, shoes size 5 or 5.5 The 15-year-old girl wears size M or L, shoes size 5 The 11-year-old girl wears size Small or size 12 (in a girl's size), shoes size 1 The 13-year-old boy wears size Large, shoes size 5

I have a client with 3 young children. Two of these children currently share a bedroom and bed out of necessity. They are 6 and 4 years old. The family does not have the means to purchase a bunkbed and mattress set and would be tremendously grateful with any assistance in helping these children have their own space, as their constant growth displays, they are in definite need of! The home has low ceilings, being mindful of this is important to the family as to ensure the safety of the child that sleeps on the top bunk.

Children Home Society is working closely with this caregiver who is doing their best to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their little one. This family is caring for two children under the age of 2 and the children are in need of new born and size 7 diapers and wipes. Would you consider stepping in to meet this need? Mom was referred to Safe families for help to establish her first home on her own with her two young children. She does not have any OCS involvement and has been involved in Young Lives. She and her children left an unsafe situation where all of their possessions, besides a suitcase filled with basic clothing, were ruined. She is in need of beds and bathroom necessities, including a shower curtain as well as diapers and pull-ups for her kids. Her apartment is completely empty and so she is seeking a bed for her son and is hopeful to get a bed for herself and has been working hard on getting this taken care of. She has no toys, or furniture or appliances or cleaning supplies and is very low on food items. She does have a vehicle where she could pick up smaller items, but if furniture and bigger items could be delivered that would be a huge blessing. The kids both wear 2T sizes. Her son wears size 2T pullups and her daughter wears size 5 diapers.

We have a young widow, 33 yrs old, with three girls ages 11, 10, 8 years old in need of furniture, see listed needs. She graduated from Hope Gardens recently, is in school to complete her AA degree, and recently through the program was able get housing. This would help to create a comfortable living space for her and her daughters as she continues to futher her education and move forward in her healing and create a space for her daughters to thirve and grow.

Good morning, friends. I have been made aware of a young woman who is 7 1/2 months into a high-risk pregnancy, who has a connection with someone in our church. Part of what she is struggling with is that one of the twins she is carrying passed away quite early in the pregnancy. She has also been in and out of the hospital with various infections, but the baby is fine. She had to quit her job so she has no income and is also not physically able to get out to purchase what she needs. She is being supported emotionally by the baby's father and her parents, but they do not have the means to equip a nursery. If you have ANY baby items taking up space that you would be willing to part with or can help provide any of the items listed, it would be so encouraging and greatly appreciated by them all. She is having a girl and they do have some clothes. I do not expect all of these items to be provided, but I am just throwing out ideas. Thank you so much!

A mom with a child with special needs mentioned that she was without basic clothing and personal hygiene items impacting her ability to work and provide for her family. These items would help this mom be able to provide for her family.
