We are a loving family of six, comprised of four wonderful girls aged 7, twins aged 12, and a vibrant 16-year-old. Recently reunited with their forever home after foster care, the twins need special support to ensure their transition is as smooth as possible. We are seeking pull-ups in size 5T/6T and some regular children’s underwear to keep our little ones comfortable. Clothing and food assistance would greatly benefit our family during this time. Given that the twins are medically fragile, a sturdy wagon would be a wonderful help for taking all the children on joyful walks with their parents. Lastly, if possible, we are hoping to acquire medical equipment like feeding tube holders to ensure the twins receive the care they need. A single mother of three children from Morgantown has just moved into a new apartment in the Dunbar, WV area. She is in need of household furniture at this time. She has continued to work hard to reach her goals and reunify her family. Providing her with household furniture will allow her to have a home for herself and her children that will be a comfortable environment.

Items can be gently used or new.

The apartment is on the smaller side so the furniture cannot be too large.

This family's home caught on fire and is still be investigated by the fire department. Parents have a 1 month old infant. They currently have a small bassinet for her but they are needing something that is safer for their daughter and something that she can sleep in as she grows..

Youth is looking for a mattress and bedframe. Youth is moving out of his foster care group home and into his first independent living placement while remaining in care. Youth does not have enough funds to purchase a bed mattress or bedframe and is requesting support with this. Youth will benefit from this by helping increase healthy sleep patterns and allowing him to be successful in his daily duties and tasks. Youth is planning to move on 6/2/2025

A single mother of three is facing a difficult season. Despite living with a disability that prevents her from working right now, she is taking classes to earn an LVN license at a local university, taking a bold step toward a better future for her family. But the road ahead is still steep. She’s currently working with a lawyer to extend her workers' compensation so she can receive a surgery on her spine that she urgently needs. In the meantime, she’s struggling to keep up with her car payments which are her only means of transportation to medical appointments, and her children’s activities. Amid these challenges, there is light: her daughter recently made the beautiful decision to accept Christ and be baptized at our Lake Forest campus, a moment of joy and hope for the entire family. Dear Team Sherry, this is our final update! Sherry, Kaya, and Kennedy are packing and preparing for the big move at the end of June. Kaya and Kennedy will move into their grandfather’s home in Yorba Linda and commute to Saddleback College. Kennedy graduated high school, got her permit, and will have her license soon. Kaya is carefully planning her transfer to Fullerton College in another year. Cameron remains in New York and is doing well. Sherry will be moving to Nevada to live with a longtime friend. It’s an emotional shift after many years living together, but this past year has been a gift. Thanks to your support, Sherry provided a stable home, helped Cameron begin a new path, supported Kaya’s growth, and celebrated Kennedy’s graduation all in their family home. While the family will no longer live together, they’re ending this chapter with something meaningful: Sherry, Kaya, and Kennedy will all serve as volunteers at Royal Family Kids Camp in late June. It’s a full-circle moment, as giving back to other foster families has always been a passion of theirs. Sherry says this year has been nothing short of a gift from God and that your generosity and prayers was the conduit of that blessing. The client is seeking assistance with her South Central Power bill, which is scheduled for disconnection on June 3, 2025, due to a past-due balance of $349.60. She is able to contribute $100 toward the amount owed.

The client recently experienced significant hardship, including a divorce followed by a car accident that was not her fault. As a result, she was temporarily unable to work and fell behind on her bills. She has since returned to full-time employment and now has a sustainable income.

Given her current circumstances and demonstrated effort toward self-sufficiency, she has been referred to InterFaith for possible assistance.
