The parents have been reunified for two months and living in the paternal grandparent's home. The home has a unique staircase and the parents have struggled to find a baby gate that will fit it in order to ensure the child's safety. the gate can be found at the below web site and does not need to be this exact gate, but something similar in order to properly fit their staircase.

Mom and her daughter (age 5 yrs) were homeless for over 6 months and was able to secure housing recently. Last year at Spero we had the privilege of welcoming a family from Afghanistan to Oklahoma. On June 13th, the family welcomed their first U.S.-born child. As the 5 siblings and family get into the adjust to having a sweet new daughter, they have found themselves in need of a baby swing. Diapers and wipes are also welcome if available!

Teenage daughter was trafficked while mom was out of the country. The daughter is healing and growing in a residential setting. Mom is back in New York and just got an apartment and is currently in need of furniture for the home and daughter.

A local family in need has been identified by our church. She lost her job and is trying to sell her house because otherwise she is going to lose it. This is one of those situations where circumstances have snowballed into a big mess. She's trying to get back on her feet, but the burden is heavy and discouraging. She needs a hand up. They have food for today and tomorrow. We would like to offer assistance with alleviating some of the bills that are piling up and helping the family to secure quality food options.

We are seeking the funds to pay their electricity bill so that the power can remain on, the phone bill so that she can maintain contact with their realtor as they try to sell the house, and funds for a grocery gift card.

Hey BC fam! We have a foster family in our church that has welcomed newborn twins into their home and is in urgent need of formula support. The babies consume one $40 can per day. The family is asking for $1,200 over the next 4 weeks as WIC will cover the cost after that. Your generosity will help provide essential nourishment during this critical time. Single mom with two children facing eviction if she doesn't get help with her rent. Children out of school, and challenges with child care, caused her to miss work. She only has half of her rent. She needs to help with $600 which is the the other half of the rent and late charges. The children will be going to summer camp in July allowing mom to get back to her normal working hours.

Hey team, we have a family in our church that serves as a foster family. The birth mom for the child is in need of a convertible car seat so they can have the child for visitation. This would meet a huge need for this mom and child and serve the foster family as well. A single mom with an 8-month-old is living with her mother and does not have a bed for herself. She needs a full or queen-size bed (frame, mattress, and box springs) plus bedding. A small floor fan (not a ceiling fan) is also needed for the bedroom. This mom is part of the Napier community that Harpeth Hills serves.
