This request is for two newly settled families of seven members with 4 children living in the same apartment. This family includes a mother and father and children three children 6 years old (M), 4 years (F ) and 3 years (M) The 4 year old suffers from seizures. The 3 year old has cancer.

The second family is the father's sister who has a 6 year old boy. This mother is bed ridden and sometimes can be upright in a wheelchair. We don't know what her sickness is.

With all the medical issues and doctor appointments in the family, the father, who is a hard-worker, can only work part-time.

The driving lessons for the father are very important. He currently rides a bike miles for his part-time job. Also, it is difficult for the family to get to all their doctor appointments without a transportation. We have identified an Arabic speaker that can provide lessons.

Regarding the requested sofa, Beautiful Mess Ministries can supply. A responding team would just need to pick-up from our storage unit and deliver. Regarding the children clothing, please note the ages. Summer wears, please.

A Teller County family could use a blessing! This family is comprised of a mother, father, a 4-year old girl, and a 2-year old girl. Both parents are employed, but still struggle with food insecurity. Unfortunately, as of earlier this year, they no longer meet the guidelines for economic assistance. While the Department has assisted with providing local resources and the parents are utilizing some food pantries, the need this month is simply too great. Therefore, the Department is respectfully asking if any Care Portal partners can help bridge the gap at this time with Wal-Mart gift cards so that they family can purchase much need supplies. A Teller County family is in need of assistance. The youngest of the family, spunky 2 and 4 year old girls, need sources of low, gentle lighting in their bedroom to avoid preventing overstimulation. However, these curious kiddos have a tendency to pull out anything plugged into the walls. Due to this, in the interest of safety, the parents have to avoid plugging anything into the outlets and keep outlet covers in at all times. Thus, the parents need to purchase specific USB-rechargeable wireless lamps that they have located on Amazon. While the parents are hardworking, they do have difficulty making ends meet, so we are requesting assistance with $40 in Amazon gift cards to aid in achieving this goal. CPS is working with a family who has a baby that has health issues. The baby is underdeveloped and is needing several cans of Elecare Formula per month, however their WIC only allows them to have a certain amount per month. The family could benefit from 5 more cans for this month. 14.1 oz cans run between $40 to $60 per can depending on where you buy them from. The family could also benefit from a gas card to help with transportation to and from the hospital or money to help with food for the family while they are at the hospital. Any help for this family will be greatly appreciated!

A 15yr old female who has been abused, abandoned, and separated from siblings, struggles with her self-worth. She was in a group home setting for the past 3 years. This week she learned her mother was arrested and will be in prison for the remainder of her childhood. She has moved to a foster family and this foster family sees how this adolescent will process her hurts through music. She is requesting a keyboard so she can start to play her own music and process her hurts, her pain, and her fears in this avenue. Foster parents are looking to set her up with piano lessons that will assist in a therapeutic manner. For the piano lesson details, this teen will need an 88 key keyboard that is weighted or semi-weighted. She and this family will be grateful for your support in providing the tool that will support self-worth and processing of hard. We are hoping this tool (the keyboard) will bring joy to this teen's heart.

A family with two children recently took in two dogs from their sister. The dogs almost had their sister evicted from her apartment, and now they are faced a similar dilemma. If they don't find a home for the dogs, they could be evicted. The family is looking for a home for the two dogs. They searched rescue sites and no kill shelters but hasn't received any help or support. Please help support this family by either taking in the dogs or by spreading the word.

Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. One of our very own families, who faithfully serves every weekend, is currently facing a difficult season. They are in need of support with rent and groceries this month to get back on track and not fall behind.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to serve two families in our community. While our assistance was very much appreciated, it does not alleviate the on-going need for these families. Both families have young children who are home during the summer months. To ensure that they have access to hot meals during the summer while they are out of school, Heartland is initiating a request to provide food gift cards to each family throughout the duration of the summer.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.
