A loving single father is doing his best to care for his young daughter while living on a fixed income through Social Security. As a disabled parent with limited resources and no support from child support, providing for his daughter’s growing needs has become increasingly difficult.

He is currently in need of clothing for his daughter. With each season and growth spurt, the cost of essentials adds up, and right now, he’s struggling to keep up. Providing clothing would not only meet a basic need, but also lift a heavy burden from this dedicated father’s shoulders and bring comfort and dignity to his little girl. A devoted single mother is caring for her two sons—her 3-year-old son who has autism and her 17-year-old son who is living with a disability. The demands of caregiving for both children, especially without outside help, have left her emotionally and financially overwhelmed. Recently, due to behavioral challenges, the older son damaged the baby gates that were used to keep the toddler safe.

These gates are essential to protecting the younger child, who is curious and on the move, from accessing areas of the home that could be dangerous for him. Mom is unable to work because her full-time role is providing care and supervision for both children, particularly given the specialized attention they each require.

We are kindly requesting two standard-size baby gates. Providing these would offer the family much-needed peace of mind and help ensure a safer, more secure environment for their youngest child.

Kin provider is a family friend who took in a one year old when his mother needed help. They currently are both unemployed, so finances are tight. They've utilized community resources for a car seat, but the one provided they do not feel is safe. They're really in need of a specific car seat so that kin provider does not worry about the child when transporting him to all his appointments, visits, etc. Any help is so appreciated by this family. Even a giftcard from Amazon to pay for part of this carseat would be so helpful.

Kin provider is taking in her sister's kids, who range from 4 to `5 years old. Upon taking the kids, she was already in the process of eviction and needing new housing. She was able to use community resources to get help with rent, but now she is short financially on some needs. The children are in need of beds. The younger two are in need of a bunk bed, while the 15 year old has her own room and could use a bed of her own. Any help with these items are so greatly appreciated.

The department is working with a family that consist of a single mother with 5 children, one of which is in foster care. The family is currently unhoused and awaiting to be placed in affordable housing. A barrier that has been identified is an existing balance with the Gallatin Housing Authority. The mother needs the outstanding fees paid in order to apply for available subsidized housing. The family has tried several different avenues to get housed. They really need any support they can get.

Single mother of two was recently laid off due to her not having childcare. The mother was taken five-year-old child to work with her to continue to make ends meet. She is a recent divorce, and former husband is not willing to help. Family is facing eviction June 25, 2025, if mother doesn’t pay pass due rent ($1,192) and late fees.

Family of four is facing eviction July 17, 2025. Family needs $7,000 to keep their family together and current home. Father recently laid off from work and is looking for long term employment. Father is a licensed painter and willing to work.

A young family of 2 children ages 1 and 7 years old are requesting a dryer as they moved into a house from an apartment. The couple have been here from Venezuela for about 2.5 years and help out at Centro Cristiano a Las Naciones with leading music. They moved from an apartment which had a washer and dryer and now they need to provide for their own. The father is looking for work and does odd jobs to help pay for rent, bills, food, clothing, etc. A dryer will help mom take care of her kids so that they will be able to attend school and help their hygiene. A single mother of 5 children missed quite some time from work due to unforeseen behavior issues with her 7-year-old son, who has since been diagnosed with ADHD and ODD. Due to these conditions, her son was not able to stay in school full days and she had to stop working for seven months until she was able to get him approved through his insurance for an in school one-on-one counselor, a smaller classroom setting and also a 504/IEP plan. Now that he has those, she has been able to get another job but won’t get paid until June 30th. She has fallen behind on her rent and several other bills. I am requesting help with the following bills: rent for May $833, she has worked out a payment plan with her landlord for the remaining balance if she can get May’s rent paid; light bill $274 and that is with an approval for cooling assistance from social services which starts on 6/15, her disconnect is for 6/16; water bill $54.37 which also has a disconnect for 6/16. I am also requesting assistance with food and gas money. Mom reached out to her social worker about all these requests, but worker was not able to process her snap application in time for her to receive benefits for June, so she won’t receive any snap benefits until July 4. She also needs money for gas to get to her job.
