Story
A family of five—two parents and three children—has just transitioned out of a local shelter and into their very first apartment. This is a huge milestone for them, and they are eager to create a safe, stable home.
The father has been facing significant challenges that have limited his ability to work, but he is now on the mend and recently began earning some income again. The mother is actively seeking employment. With limited resources, they are starting over from scratch.
Fusion was able to provide mattresses, but they are still in need of essential items to make their apartment livable: bedding, a couch, dining table and chairs, pots and pans, bath towels, and other basic household necessities.
How Meeting This Need Will Help: Meeting this need will help the family establish a sense of dignity, normalcy, and comfort. It will turn their apartment into a home—a place of rest, family meals, and new beginnings. Your support can help stabilize their transition and give them the solid foundation they need to move forward with hope.
