This is a single mother with a 3-year-old daughter who is currently searching for permanent housing. Although she is not employed at the moment, she is hopeful about finding a job soon, as she has been fully focused on her situation. The mother has a limited income and needs clothing and shoes for her daughter, or a gift card to purchase these items. Her daughter wears clothing size 4 toddler and a shoe size 7 toddler. Having these essentials would greatly assist her, allowing the mother to concentrate on securing a job to provide for her family.

A family of 5, mom and dad with three children ages 17, 15, 5 who are in need of a small deep freezer to be able to store more food for their family. This family was living in a hotel in Roswell as they had relocated here and have been working with KFT. This family has been in their own home since January 2025 however in the move, their deep freezer broke and didn’t survive the move to their home. With three growing children, extra freezer space would be helpful for the family to store their food.

We are getting ready for Walker’s Kid’s Day, which is our community’s big back to school event. I would like to send a Care Portal request for school supplies. This is a single mother of five children who has worked incredibly hard to provide a childhood for her kids that she never experienced herself. She is a dedicated and loving parent, attending college part-time while raising her children on her own. The family has successfully obtained permanent housing and is delighted to finally have a home to call their own.

Currently, they need actual clothing for the children or a gift card. The children's sizes are as follows: 24 months (boy), 4T (toddler boy), 5T (toddler girl), 10-12 (girl), and 14-16 (boy). Providing clothing for her children will greatly support her as she balances work and her education. The family is very grateful for any assistance that can be offered.

A single mother and her six children are living in emergency housing under heartbreaking conditions. They have no beds, no way to heat food, and none of the basics needed for a safe, livable home. This family urgently needs help — a microwave, air fryer, dining table, curtains, dressers, and other simple household items that would bring comfort and dignity to their lives. The father of a family of five suddenly passed away without any life insurance. The family is not only mourning this profound loss but also finds itself in a financial crisis. In addition to funeral expenses, their one working vehicle is experiencing electrical issues and cannot be used until it is repaired. They also need to replace their oven.

This request is on behalf of a 17 year old male high school student. December 2024 the student was hospitalized for mental health issues. Student was released into his mother's custody 4 days after being admitted to the hospital. Once at home student was met with mixed reactions about the experience from various family members and was told that he was weak and needed to toughen up. Despite the lack of moral support the student has began to make progress in the right direction with the help of weekly therapy sessions and mentoring from the youth pastor at Crenshaw Christian Center. Attending summer camp would give this student a much needed break from his home life and an opportunity to find much needed support and encouragement among his peers. This young man has attended various college tours and wants to pursue occupational therapy upon high school graduation.

I am submitting this request on behalf of a 17 year old high school male that is currently staying at a friends house due to being evicted out of his former home. This student is the oldest of 4 siblings. Mom is staying in temporary housing with his younger siblings and is sending what little finances she has where the student is staying. The student would greatly benefit from attending summer camp and would help to relieve some of the financial burden on mom. Student's father is not actively involved in his life and attending summer camp will give the student access to positive male role models as he continues to navigate his life.
