We have a young 17-year-old client who has a chance to participate in Bible Camp this summer, but caregivers are unable to provide the funding for it. We are looking to get funding as soon as possible due to how quickly the camp spots are filling. Caregivers report they hope to have him participate in this camp as they also would benefit from the respite it will provide, and they want to preserve placement.

Last year at Spero we had the privilege of welcoming a family from Afghanistan to Oklahoma. On June 13th, the family welcomed their first U.S.-born child. As the 5 siblings and family get into the adjust to having a sweet new daughter, they have found themselves in need of a baby swing. Diapers and wipes are also welcome if available!

Spanish speaking couple of low economic means is requesting a single stroller for their 3 month old baby boy. Per our organizations policy, we request new items only. Thank you very much.

At Next Chapter Reentry Project, we are committed to walking alongside individuals impacted by the cycle of incarceration, helping them find restoration with their families and communities. A crucial part of this journey is ensuring their basic needs are met so they can fully focus on healing and growth.

To support the women in our program, we hope to provide feminine hygiene products, including tampons and pads. Access to these essentials will help reduce financial strain and allow our residents to prioritize savings and other important areas of stability.

Additionally, one of our residents has been generously using her own resources to drive peers to their appointments. While this has been a tremendous support to others in the program, it has begun to place a financial burden on her. We would love to provide her with gas cards so she can continue this selfless act without additional hardship.

Meeting these needs directly supports each resident by removing obstacles so our residents can focus on their journey toward restoration, healing, and reconnection with their families.

A youth in foster care has recently discovered his love for sports and has joined a baseball camp that starts soon. He is in need of a baseball bat as well as other baseball required gear. Anything would help make this kiddo's world light up.

A local family in need has been identified by our church. She lost her job and is trying to sell her house because otherwise she is going to lose it. This is one of those situations where circumstances have snowballed into a big mess. She's trying to get back on her feet, but the burden is heavy and discouraging. She needs a hand up. They have food for today and tomorrow. We would like to offer assistance with alleviating some of the bills that are piling up and helping the family to secure quality food options.

We are seeking the funds to pay their electricity bill so that the power can remain on, the phone bill so that she can maintain contact with their realtor as they try to sell the house, and funds for a grocery gift card.

Hey BC fam! We have a foster family in our church that has welcomed newborn twins into their home and is in urgent need of formula support. The babies consume one $40 can per day. The family is asking for $1,200 over the next 4 weeks as WIC will cover the cost after that. Your generosity will help provide essential nourishment during this critical time. Single mom with two children facing eviction if she doesn't get help with her rent. Children out of school, and challenges with child care, caused her to miss work. She only has half of her rent. She needs to help with $600 which is the the other half of the rent and late charges. The children will be going to summer camp in July allowing mom to get back to her normal working hours.

Hey team, we have a family in our church that serves as a foster family. The birth mom for the child is in need of a convertible car seat so they can have the child for visitation. This would meet a huge need for this mom and child and serve the foster family as well. If you happen to have one in good condition that you could give her that is great or here is an option if you would be available and willing to purchase one. A single mom with an 8-month-old is living with her mother and does not have a bed for herself. She needs a full or queen-size bed (frame, mattress, and box springs) plus bedding. A small floor fan (not a ceiling fan) is also needed for the bedroom. This mom is part of the Napier community that Harpeth Hills serves.
