This sibling group has been removed from parent's care and placed in relative care. The children have adjusted well to being there and have stable daily routines. Recently the air conditioning in the home has stopped working and the relatives do not have the funds to repair it due to the added financial strain of taking in 3 children.

With it being summer and very high temperatures looming, the family is in need of assistance with repairing the Air Conditioning unit.

Young mother recently reunified with her 2 young children. Mother does not have her own transportation. Mother reaches out for rides. Mother is getting a ride from a family member today to take the children from Marion to Carmel for an ENT appointment. Tomorrow the same family member is bringing the mother from Marion to Logansport for court. I am requesting a gas card to fill the tank of the family member for helping out the mother.

In an effort to support children and families in our community who are experiencing financial hardship, we humbly seek your assistance in this important mission. Our goal is to provide school supplies for children whose parents may struggle to prepare them for the upcoming academic year.

Paternal grandparents became placement of the 3-year-old grandson. They are in need of diapers/pulls for the child.

Paternal grandparents are in need of a dresser to ensure the child has storage space for his clothes.

We have two brothers who attend NKT, one is 12 years old and the other is 8. They need beds to sleep in. We have listed the need as two twin beds but would also gladly accept bunk beds. If no actual beds are donated here, we will look for good-quality previously owned beds on Facebook Marketplace.

*If box springs are not available, we will purchase mattress/box spring hybrids.

We have a dear NKT family of 6 (mom, grandma, and 4 children) who do not have beds to sleep in nor living room furniture to sit on. We want to bless this family by outfitting their home with these furniture items. We will look for good quality, previously owned items on Facebook Marketplace.

A single mom going through a divorce is trying to become financially independent. She currently makes very little income, and needs assistance to help pay for gas so she can drive her children to school and different activities while she looks for work.

Glocal provides for the physical needs for a new baby to be welcomed through a baby shower. We are currently out of the baby bath sets that include baby shampoo, baby lotion and diaper cream. Many stores sell these as a set or we can use the individual items and gift them to these moms that are usually having their first baby in the US. so far this year, Glocal has given showers or made deliveries to over 40 moms and we have 5 coming up next week. this will support us through the end of the summer.

If you also love baby and women, please reach out and let me know if you would host a shower. We gather the donations but we love for churches to love on these new moms by a small shower. We facilitate it and help with all the details. you provide the food, the friends and the place. thank you!
