I’m reaching out to request support with essential items for a newly placed sibling group that has just arrived in my care. This group includes four children:

A 16-year-old girl (plus-size, clothing size 18–20 wide)

A 10-year-old boy (clothing size 14–16 youth or XXL youth)

A 9-year-old girl (clothing size 10–12)

A 6-year-old girl (clothing size 7–8)

As we work to help them settle in and feel safe, I’d greatly appreciate any assistance with the following specific items:

Items Needed:

Bathing suits for all four children (sizes above)

Lotion, shampoo, and conditioner (sensitive skin-friendly, if possible)

Beach toys (buckets, shovels, sand molds, etc.) for play and sensory regulation

If any of these items are available through donations or community partners, it would make a meaningful difference. I’m happy to coordinate pickup or provide further details if needed.

Single mother and her son are doing everything they can to make ends meet. The mom is a hard worker and looking for better employment to sustain herself and her son while trying keep food on the table, pay bills, and get to work. She is struggling but praying for a better employment opportunity that will assist her in making a better life for her and her son. She is stretching her funds to keep everything from being shut off and her son fed. She is needing assistance with clothing for her son and herself. We are requesting clothing assistance for this single mother and her son. A sweet woman has been caring for a little baby boy and finds herself needing some assistance with purchasing new diapers as he continues to grow bigger! She noted that he is currently wearing size 2 diapers but she is also happy to receive size 3 as he is quickly growing! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi! This family of three (dad, two sons) is so so close to getting reunified. Dad needs some help with a few household items, though: he needs a set of dressers (two, ideally, used/whatever) and a microwave! Kids absolutely love being with dad but he lacks a lot of necessities at this point. He's doing everything he can to get the kids back and is genuinely a likeable guy. Please let me know if you can help!

One of our favorite Wooddale Staff is needing to move to California for family reasons and needs our Helping Hands at her home, preferably the week of July 21 and all work completed by July 27. The following needs to be addressed are listed:

1.) there is a decent sized hole in the drywall that needs filling (from my mom’s oxygen tank)

2.) help with weeding planter beds and trimming shrubs

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
