This request is on behalf of a Hope Florida participant that is a single mother of four children. The participant is disabled, and she lives on a fixed income and receives disability benefits. The father of the children is missing from their lives and doesn't help the children financially or emotionally. The family receives food stamps but unfortunately this does not help them with their day-to-day needs. One of the children is disabled as well and receives disability benefits. The participant is currently pregnant, and this has caused an increase in the amount of the expenses. These children are lacking enough clothing and shoes. Their clothing is worn out and limited and they have outgrown their shoes. They have outgrown the little clothing that they have. They are in dire need of clothing for the summer months. Your help with clothing and shoes will allow them to attend school, attend doctor appointments and in other daily activities. The clothing will help them greatly as this will improve their quality of life and level of comfort in these very warm summer months. Please help this family in this difficult time. The foster parents are requesting a large dresser for their foster daughter. She has two small dressers now that do not hold all of the foster daughter's things and they are difficult to get into. If they have one large dresser it will leave more space in the child's room to play and move around and her clothes will be easily accessible.

We have a kinship provider who has taken on the care of 4 boys in her home. There has been some miscommunication regarding what she needed in relation to the beds. Information received was that she needed 2 bunk bed twin frames for 4 mattresses she had already. We purchased the 2 bunk bed frames, but the caregiver did not have the mattresses and is still in need of 4 twin mattress. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

A local family in need has been identified by our church. She lost her job and is trying to sell her house because otherwise she is going to lose it. This is one of those situations where circumstances have snowballed into a big mess. She's trying to get back on her feet, but the burden is heavy and discouraging. She needs a hand up. They have food for today and tomorrow. We would like to offer assistance with alleviating some of the bills that are piling up and helping the family to secure quality food options.

We are seeking the funds to pay their electricity bill so that the power can remain on, the phone bill so that she can maintain contact with their realtor as they try to sell the house, and funds for a grocery gift card.

Single mom with two children facing eviction if she doesn't get help with her rent. Children out of school, and challenges with child care, caused her to miss work. She only has half of her rent. She needs to help with $600 which is the the other half of the rent and late charges. The children will be going to summer camp in July allowing mom to get back to her normal working hours.

Hey team, we have a family in our church that serves as a foster family. The birth mom for the child is in need of a convertible car seat so they can have the child for visitation. This would meet a huge need for this mom and child and serve the foster family as well.
