Story
I’m working with a client who needs help repairing his car. He currently works part-time but can’t go full-time due to needing surgery on his right knee. His job involves standing and driving, and after surgery (expected by late summer), he’ll be non-weight bearing for at least six weeks.
He can cover daily basics but can’t afford to fix his car. It’s a 2010 Buick Enclave CXL, and Quick Start Batteries diagnosed it with a bad alternator (not the battery or starter). They quoted $200 for the part and Quick Start was willing to install it for free.
He’s open to having it re-diagnosed elsewhere, but the car isn’t drivable. If anyone can assist with repairs or has mechanical knowledge, it would be a huge help.
He needs the car to attend medical appointments, get groceries, take his 5-year-old son to speech therapy, and get to work. Reliable transportation would also help him secure more consistent shifts once he’s physically able, improving financial stability for his family.
