With a basic set of tools of his own, he would gain not only the ability to fully perform his duties but also a sense of pride, stability, and ownership in his growing career. Your support would not just provide equipment—it would empower a young man striving to stand on his own feet.

"The non-minor dependent (NMD) came to the attention of DCFS and the Court when she was in the 4th grade. She was removed from both parents due to their severe mental health challenges and homelessness. A church member later became her legal guardian and cared for her until she graduated from high school and enrolled in college.

Unfortunately, due to her own mental health struggles, she was unable to complete her first semester and withdrew from college. She temporarily returned to her former legal guardian’s home, where she has stayed for the past 10 months. However, the guardian’s family is now facing their own challenges and has asked her to move out by 6/30/25.

The former guardian helped her find a small, rented room near their workplace and continues to support her transition to independent living. Although the NMD is still struggling with mental health and independence, she is motivated and willing to work toward full self-sufficiency over the next year.

She is in need of a twin-size bed and other basic household items to settle into her new space. "

Hello, a family in the community is in urgent need of a vehicle. This single mother of four children has remained resilient and hopeful despite countless setbacks the family has faced. The family lost their previous vehicle due it to being totaled in an accident. This barrier has resulted in missed or pushed-back appointments, due to minimal social support in the area. This family is very motivated to accomplish goals, and this would be an amazing support to the family! *Note, oldest child is 12 years old, thus a 5-person vehicle would be sufficient.

8 year old male in need of summer clothing. Parents are incarcerated and are not a support for the family. Great aunt is trying to care for the child as much as possible but is needing some help with summer clothing and shoes. Aunt is retired and on a fixed income. He will also need school clothing when school approaches. He is a size 7/8 in boys and a shoe size of 13C. Can provide shoes a little big if needed to assure fitting longer.

We currently are fostering 3 children and want to continue to make their experience meaningful. We have a 12 year old girl who could use some basketball shoes (size 7.5) and probably extra socks. We also have a sibling set ( girl 2, boy 1) who could use some pajamas. She wears 3T and he’s in 18month. Diapers and wipes are always needed. Thank you so much!

Request Details: A single mother of three children (ages 3 to 8) is facing an extremely difficult season. Her 8-year-old son was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is undergoing treatment, which required her to resign from her job in order to care for him full-time.

She is also currently expecting twins (a boy and a girl) and does not have any baby items or support prepared for their arrival. The financial strain of her son’s illness and loss of income has left her unable to pay her rent and utilities, now totaling $2,000, and she is at immediate risk of becoming homeless.
