A mom of three recently found herself a single parent. She has found an apartment but needs assistance with the first month's rent (750.00).

As the Faith-Based and Community Engagement Team prepares for the upcoming school year, we are reaching out to request your support in helping our children and youth start the year with the tools they need to succeed. We are collecting new school supplies for children served by the Rainbow Room. Items needed are backpacks, notebooks, paper, folders, pencils, pens, colors, glue, scissor etc. With your help, we can ensure that every child we serve starts the school year with confidence and the right supplies in hand.
We ask that all donated supplies be dropped off by July 31, 2025

We are working with a Single mother of four children: two girls (ages 15 and 8) and two boys (ages 10 and 5) Recently secured housing. This young lady suffers from Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes painful, pus-filled lumps deep in the skin, particularly in areas where skin rubs together. This debilitating condition has prevented her from working for over a year as medical professionals can't seem to identify a cure or offer aid to avoid flare-ups. She is working hard to establish stability, but her medical condition significantly impacts her ability to work and provide for her children's basic needs. These essential furniture items would create a more comfortable and functional living environment for the entire family during this challenging time.

Grandparents took placement of their 1 year old grandchild. The grandparents have a disconnect notice of $159.81 for their water due to expending childcare funds unexpectedly that caused them to get behind on their utility bills. A plan has been made for the childcare cost on-going that will prevent them from getting behind like this on their utilities again, but at this time, they are still at risk of their water being shut off. They were able to put some money of their own towards their utility bills this month but it wasn't enough to cover the full bill. Meeting this need will allow the family to meet the basic needs of the child for food & bathing as well as reduce the amount of trauma the child may experience if they were to be transitioned to strangers in foster care should they not be able to meet the basic needs of the child.

A kinship home needs a toddler mattress, sheets, pillow and blanket for a 3-year-old girl. The aunt requested assistance on this matter and asked for a Barbie or Minnie mouse print as her niece loves those characters. This aunt has been caring for her niece for almost two months now and fulfilling this request will assist the aunt and her niece will receive the best possible care. Thank you.

Person who is new to our church is in need of various items after going through addiction recovery. The church working with this person to help him establish permanent housing, basic household and personal supplies.

We are asking for help for a single mother with two teenage children. She is in need of 1 tire for her 2004 F150 Lariat truck. She has recently secured a job and is driving approximately 40 miles to work & back each day. She has had several issues with this truck and is in need of one more tire. The number on the side of her other tires is 2754522.

V is a mom and grandma working hard to care for her two children and one grandson. She fell behind on her electric bill due to an illness and missing work and now it's shut off. They were able to stay last night at a friend's house but that's not feasible to do again. Any amount helps to stabilize this family and help prevent the need for foster care!

one of our church members car was repossessed this weekend after already having been charged off months ago. they are requesting help with the amount of $5,000. This is the amount we were behind in payments, plus the fees to get it out of the impound lot.

A single mom is working hard to make ends meet and just recently got a job. She is trying to provide the best she can for her kids. Since not having steady income she has fallen short on getting things that are needed. She could use some help with diapers for one of the kids. If you are able to help please let me know.
