Unfortunately, costs related to transportation to get to work has decreased the funds to pay for the next two weeks of their stay. With assistance, the family will be able to resume paying. The 18-year-old mom is looking for employment on a shift opposite of her boyfriend. This will allow them to provide care and oversight for their children while working. They have enrolled in a program to assist them with a security deposit and first month’s rent once they locate and qualify for their own apartment. The biweekly amount for the extended stay is discounted compared to the daily amount. The family is currently paid through today. Any amount that is received will allow the family to stay an additional day. If the family is unable to remain at the extended stay, they will likely need to split up so the young mom and her children will become eligible to move into a shelter.
