This resource is a single grandmother caring for her two grandchildren, age 3 and 2. The 2-year-old has significant medical needs which has caused the resource to miss work periodically since caring for them. This resource is struggling to make ends meet after a decline in her income and an increase in expenses. Any help is greatly appreciated! She has requested that the bibs have plastic backings.

There is a need for clothing hangers (100+), a bookshelf (1+), and clothing racks (1+) for the children's clothing closet. These items can be used. The hangers can be different sizes and made of different materials. Clothing racks with just one bar is preferred and they can either be stationary or have wheels on them. The bookshelf needs to be big enough to hold 10 pairs of shoes and a few bins for socks and other undergarments. If you have recently cleaned out your closet and have unused hangers taking up space. We will gladly take them off your hands. If you have a bookshelf and/or clothing rack that you are no longer using, you can donate it to us.

Three male siblings are in need of support:

All three boys currently do not have beds of their own and would greatly benefit from having a safe, comfortable place to sleep. We are requesting the following items to meet their basic needs:

Three (3) twin-size mattresses

Three (3) twin box springs

Three (3) bed frames

Three (3) bedding sets (including sheets, blankets, and pillows) Providing these items will help ensure each child has a consistent and restful sleep environment, which is critical to their physical health, emotional well-being, and academic success. A bed of their own will also give them a sense of stability and comfort.

This family has a 6 month old child who has been sleeping in a bassinet in the parents' room. The child has grown out of the bassinet, but their primary source of income lost his job, and they can't afford to purchase a crib for the baby to grow into. They are requesting a convertible crib and baby/toddler mattress so that the child has a safe space to sleep for years to come.

A family with two children recently took in two dogs from their sister. The dogs almost had their sister evicted from her apartment, and now they are faced a similar dilemma. If they don't find a home for the dogs, they could be evicted. The family is looking for a home for the two dogs. They searched rescue sites and no kill shelters but hasn't received any help or support. Please help support this family by either taking in the dogs or by spreading the word.

Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. One of our very own families, who faithfully serves every weekend, is currently facing a difficult season. They are in need of support with rent and groceries this month to get back on track and not fall behind.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to serve two families in our community. While our assistance was very much appreciated, it does not alleviate the on-going need for these families. Both families have young children who are home during the summer months. To ensure that they have access to hot meals during the summer while they are out of school, Heartland is initiating a request to provide food gift cards to each family throughout the duration of the summer.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.
