We have three girls ( 11,9,6) who have been without proper beds for some time, using broken ones that no longer provide comfort. A new bed would give them a safe, restful place to sleep and help them feel supported, cared for, and at peace in their own space.

A single dad needs help paying for his rent where his 7 year old daughter and him reside. Father was just reunited with his daughter after a year and soon after reunification he had to have an emergency medical surgery and his company let him go due to missing some work. He started a new job already but is falling short on rent and just needs some help to get back on his feet and be the father he has been working so hard to be, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a request from RestoreOKC for a teenager who is in high need of wrestling shoes. He has been in the wrestling program for a few years, and the current condition of his shoes are not safe to use. This student spends his time with his wrestling team to avoid the negative influences of the neighborhood peer pressure. He has worked very hard in this sport, and the opportunity to have new Wrestling shoes would help increase his athleticism along with the added confidence and comfort they would bring. Shoe size is a men's 10 1/2. Anything would be appreciated, thank you for your time.

Close friends of a family have taken in a child due to removal. They are the most loving and caring people when it comes to this baby. They do everything that they can to make sure that this baby is loved, safe, healthy, and happy. They are currently needing more diapers, wipes, and formula to keep up with his appetite! They also have to do very frequent diaper changes due to his sensitive skin to prevent rashes and blisters. The brand of diapers they prefer is PAMPERS SWADDLERS in sizes 4 and 5. The brand of wipes they prefer is PAMPERS SENSITIVE. The brand of formula they prefer is: Dr. Browns Gentle Pro 20oz (easy digestion and softer poops). This is the only formula that seems to help be gentle and help with the baby's gas, spit up, and bowel movements. The family would be very thankful to have this need met for them. We are requesting support for a 22-year-old young mother with three children under the age of 5 (4 yrs, 3 yrs, 7 mo) who is facing multiple challenges and is in urgent need of assistance. She is currently employed at a daycare where her children also attend. Unfortunately, the daycare will be closing soon, resulting in the loss of both her job and childcare. She has a past-due balance of over $700 at a previous daycare center, making it difficult to find new affordable childcare options.

Additionally, she is unable to afford basic needs, including laundry services, diapers, and food. She is currently pending food stamp benefits, which have been delayed due to unresolved child support issues with the fathers of her children. She has ongoing issues with one of the fathers and is preparing to move out. He has refused to provide financial support, and the timeline for when child support will begin is uncertain.

This young mother is doing her best to provide for her children during this difficult time. We are asking for $500 in financial assistance to help her meet immediate needs such as food, rent, diapers, and other basic living expenses.

A family with two children recently took in two dogs from their sister. The dogs almost had their sister evicted from her apartment, and now they are faced a similar dilemma. If they don't find a home for the dogs, they could be evicted. The family is looking for a home for the two dogs. They searched rescue sites and no kill shelters but hasn't received any help or support. Please help support this family by either taking in the dogs or by spreading the word.

Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. One of our very own families, who faithfully serves every weekend, is currently facing a difficult season. They are in need of support with rent and groceries this month to get back on track and not fall behind.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to serve two families in our community. While our assistance was very much appreciated, it does not alleviate the on-going need for these families. Both families have young children who are home during the summer months. To ensure that they have access to hot meals during the summer while they are out of school, Heartland is initiating a request to provide food gift cards to each family throughout the duration of the summer.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.
