We have a family of three( 12 year old boy, 10 year old girl and 6 year old boy) who have been sharing one bed due to limited resources. They are in need of additional beds to ensure each person has a comfortable place to rest. Providing beds would greatly improve their daily life, offering better sleep, personal space, and a sense of dignity and care. We are grateful for our community and the care and coffee initiative.

I am requesting Care Portal assistance on behalf of a mother and her two children who were recently evicted from their home and are currently residing in an emergency shelter. The family has experienced significant instability, including lack of access to basic necessities and transportation. The mother is actively seeking support but has very limited resources at this time. She is in need of a gas card to help her retrieve their remaining belongings from the previous residence and attend scheduled appointments, including one to access further support. Any assistance provided would help stabilize the family during this difficult transition and ensure the children’s immediate needs are met in a safe and dignified manner.

There is an aunt who is currently caring for her sisters' children to prevent them from entering foster care. The aunt is needing a few items for the children as they arrived to her with limited to no items. The aunt is needing a toddler bed and diapers in the size 3t-4t pull ups.

Family with (3) kids needs immediate assistance with food. Parent was involved in domestic incident and does not have money to buy food, since other parent is no longer in the home. Parent works, but does get paid until next week. There is little food in the home.

Family would benefit from eggs, milk, cheese, hamburger, chicken, bacon, spaghetti fixing (noodles-sauce), fruit loops cereal, water, bread, ramen noodles, chef-boy-R-d.

A two-parent household with four children—a 11 year old son, 5 year old son, 3 year old son and 11 month old son is requesting assistance with a gas card. The mother is currently unemployed seeking work, while the father works full-time. Bother parents are actively working to get engaged in services; however, travel-related expenses have become a financial burden. Gas assistance would help alleviate this strain and support the family’s to participate in required services.

A family with two children recently took in two dogs from their sister. The dogs almost had their sister evicted from her apartment, and now they are faced a similar dilemma. If they don't find a home for the dogs, they could be evicted. The family is looking for a home for the two dogs. They searched rescue sites and no kill shelters but hasn't received any help or support. Please help support this family by either taking in the dogs or by spreading the word.

Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. One of our very own families, who faithfully serves every weekend, is currently facing a difficult season. They are in need of support with rent and groceries this month to get back on track and not fall behind.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to serve two families in our community. While our assistance was very much appreciated, it does not alleviate the on-going need for these families. Both families have young children who are home during the summer months. To ensure that they have access to hot meals during the summer while they are out of school, Heartland is initiating a request to provide food gift cards to each family throughout the duration of the summer.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.
