A family is in need of support!

A financially struggling family is looking for help in acquiring a door alarm. The family cares for their 2-year-old Autistic child. The child has previously opened the door and left the home on his own. In order to maintain his safety, the family is looking for a door alarm that will sound when the door is opened. This will help them secure and protect the child.

I Have a recent victim who suffers from mental health issues who is reinterpreting into society. She is in need of clothing size 3x and 4 x if possible. She will accept gently used and new clothing.

A single mother is suffering from postpartum depression and residing at the Rescue Mission. Her child is one month old, born June 6. The mother has no support as she grew up in foster care herself. This is her first child and the biological father is not involved. The Rescue Mission makes this new mother wake up and start chores by 445 am. The mother is suffering from lack of sleep as she has a newborn and is forced to leave the Mission every day by 9 am and not able to return until 3 pm. This forces the tired mother to take her infant often times to the library where she spends the entire day until she is able to return to the Mission. But even then, she is not allowed to access her bed until 7 pm. The mother does not use substances. Any support is helpful to this mother, but ideally would benefit most from a sponsor. Once the child is old enough, the mother would like to return back to work if she is able.

A mother of five currently resides with her parents and serves as the primary caregiver for her father, who recently experienced his fourth stroke. Due to his medical condition, he now requires the use of a walker for mobility. However, the family’s home has steps at the front entrance, which present a significant barrier to safe access.

The family is seeking assistance with the installation of an accessibility ramp at the front of the house. This modification is critical to ensuring the father’s ability to enter and exit the home safely for medical appointments and daily needs, while also reducing the physical strain on family members assisting him.

Two children were brought into custody and were placed with relatives. The relatives have four children of their own and taking on two more children was unexpected. Due to the ages and genders of the children, they are needing a triple bunk bed to serve all children and make the most out of the space they have.

Single Mom struggling with fluctuating employment has gotten behind on rent. She is working with School social workers on a long term housing plan but needs assistance paying rent arrears. Requesting $500 to get caught up

Single mom of 3 is expecting a baby girl at the beginning of August and needs assistance with items for her newborn. This is a mother that we've worked with in the past who is reaching out in hopes that we can help her provide items for her newborn baby to come home to. She is very hard working and does all she can to provide for her babies but as a single parent is struggling to secure the supplies she needs for her baby on the way. Any contributions to provide relief would immeasurably encourage and strengthen the welfare of this family.

A grandmother has just received custody of her 3 grandchildren. They are in need of clothes, shoes and school supplies.

1. Girl 5 years old, size 4T clothes and 11 shoes
2. Boy 4 years old, 5T clothes and 11 - 12 shoes.
3. Girl 11 years old, Women's size 9 clothes, medium adult top, and 5 1/2 shoes. They will be attending Pueblo West schools and will need school supplies.

Fostering Hope - one of our 111project Networking Partners is asking for additional AGE SPECIFIC Bibles that they can use to distribute out with their Hope Bags that they use to assist children and families in need within the Muskogee area and surrounding counties. By providing a Bible you are helping the ministry to provide the family with an easy conversation starter and age-appropriate reading tool to help with the child's development and potentially help with additional relational connection between Fostering Hope, it's clients and churches for wrap around support to the family and children.

This family has secured an apartment but cannot afford to fully furnish it. Dad, recently lost his job, rent is paid for this month. They need a sofa, beds, kitchen utensils, and the basic items for living. The children are ages 9 and 4, and grandma lives with them as well. They've been coming to Lighthouse Church as a result of using the pantry on site.
