Parents have found an income based housing that does have an opening for them to move into. Parents have discussed being able to afford the ongoing rent moving forward but are asking for any assistance possible so they can cover the deposit and buying furniture for their new apartment. Parents are currently homeless, and staying with friends. By getting into a stable residence, they could have a safe and stable living environment and have their son returned to their care.

This request is on behalf of a resilient young family of three who were impacted by the recent Altadena fires. The family was living in a backhouse that was consumed in the fire, forcing them to lose not only their home but also their means of livelihood. Both parents are hardworking entrepreneurs who had built a thriving housekeeping business serving clients across Altadena and Pasadena. Unfortunately, many of their clients' homes were also destroyed in the fire, resulting in a loss of income and clientele. In addition to losing all of their cleaning equipment and supplies in the fire, they also lost the foundation of the business they worked so hard to build. Through the support of friends and family, they have been able to recover a significant amount of their cleaning supplies and are actively working to rebuild their business and regain clients. Despite their determination and efforts, the financial disruption has created a significant hardship. They have since secured a new residence and have been living there for a couple of months. However, catching up on rent has become a major challenge due to the debt they incurred during the aftermath of the fire. I am seeking support to help cover two months of rent totaling $4,820, which would provide this family the financial breathing room needed to stabilize and continue rebuilding their lives and business.

CPR Certification for 17-Year-Old Youth Seeking Employment Description of Need:A 17-year-old male youth in foster care is requesting community support to complete CPR certification in order to apply for a job in the food service industry. This training is a required qualification for the position he is pursuing and reflects his motivation to become more independent and self-sufficient. Who Needs Help:One 17-year-old male currently in foster care. What Do They Need: Enrollment in a certified CPR/First Aid training course (either in-person or virtual).Support covering the training registration fee and certificate processing. What Happens If This Need Is Met: Meeting this need will equip the youth with a life-saving skill, increase his employability, and provide him with a meaningful opportunity to begin earning income and gaining work experience. It will boost his confidence and help him take a major step toward adulthood and financial independence.

Two youths who aged out are in need of storage space as they're in temporary housing with an old foster parent, a queen bed, and an air conditioner.

A family that received a crib for a kinship placement could use a kitchen table, chairs, and a couch. This will help the family with ongoing needs.

This request is to help a mother who is requesting assistance with her rent as she is staying at Oxford homes. This will allow for stability for her so that she may get to work, and establish income to move out on her own.

In an effort to submit rent requests with a better success rate of fulfillment, we have capped the amount requested to $500. The rent or mortgage amount is in total $700 (to include the $500). This coming Sunday evening, Jonathan’s Path hosts a family-style dinner for youth in foster care or those who have recently aged out. It’s not just a meal — it’s a lifeline. These dinners give our youth a safe, welcoming space to be seen, heard, and connected. It's often over a plate of food that we discover who’s struggling with transportation to work, therapy and more, who hasn't had a hot meal in days, or who just needs someone to talk to or a hug.

This Sunday, we’re expecting 25 young people — and we need to raise $700 to cover transportation so they can get there. Most don’t have cars, many live across the Nashville, Murfreesboro, Lebanon, Antioch, etc,
