A 15 year old child is currently in placement with her 21 year old sister. This is the only place she can go after the child was removed due to an altercation with her mother. The child has asked FCM for a dresser to put her clothes into. Sister is struggling financially after taking on her sister so abruptly. FCM wants to make the child's emergency placement with her sister more comfortable and not place so much financial strain onto sister.

A niece has recently volunteered to care for her younger cousin to keep her out of foster care, and asks for help with clothing. The girl is 15 years old and needs shirts and pants.

This request is for a mother and her two children ages 1 and 2. I am connected with this family and have identified the mom is in need of obtaining both child's birth certificates to apply for housing so they can get a place to live as soon as possible. The mother is a victim of domestic violence that has been a housewife and does not have job experience, which we are also working on. She and the children have moved to Lubbock from a different area, and she was unable to grab the children's birth certificates. The father will not provide them to her. The mother and her children are currently staying with a relative that needs to be moved out by Monday, 7/14/2025. Thank you for your support and for your consideration in meeting this need.

To assist and support biological mother with successfully reentry into her community. The support of family and friends can be critical for successful reentry. The mother is working hard to create a safe and comfortable home for her son to thrive. She is searching for employment but needs assistance with a few baby items, which are listed below. It would be a tremendous help to the mother to receive assistance and support to ensure that her son has what he needs during this challenging time. Mother is caring for her teenage daughter and due the family's situation Mother and child are in need of different items. Mother and child have identified some needs they are struggling to obtain before DCS exits with the family.

Grace Bible has been connected with a family currently in the adoption process who is in need of assistance. The caregiver has taken placement of his brother’s two children, and the family is moving towards adoption. They have requested assistance with a portion of their electric bill this month. The family has paid a portion of the bill, but has requested assistance with covering the remaining portion.

A single mom has secured housing mid July. She has 3 young children. She currently is employed and is attending a Bible study regularly. She has mentors set up to walk with her moving forward. She has saved and is 400 short on initial move in expenses.

A Karen family that has been recently able to move into a house now has the fun of doing the yard work. They really could use a lawn mower to help them. if you have a new or a used one that runs well, please consider donating it to them.

Two youths who aged out are in need of storage space as they're in temporary housing with an old foster parent, a queen bed, and an air conditioner.

A family that received a crib for a kinship placement could use a kitchen table, chairs, and a couch. This will help the family with ongoing needs.
