After receiving the notice, he called to see if his insurance would cover the expenses but was told that it would not be covered as it was not a life-threatening emergency for which he sought care. This is a responsible young man, and he is very anxious about this debt of $704.99. He is worried it will affect his credit, and his future plans. He cannot afford to pay the bill.

There is a kiddo in the hospital who is autistic receiving critical medical treatment at Wesley. Family does not have a lot of financial support, and they are hoping to be able to stay in Wichita for a few days so that they are able to be with kiddo while he is in the hospital. They are lacking additional money to be able to afford food while in Wichita as they do not live there and their home is not there. Hoping to be able to help them with a little food while they are there. As of now it seems as though kiddo may be there until early to middle of next week. Family has done a lot of work and has worked with all of their supports and services to do the best that they can.

Grace Bible has been connected with a family currently in the adoption process who is in need of assistance. The caregiver has taken placement of his brother’s two children, and the family is moving towards adoption. They have requested assistance with a portion of their electric bill this month. The family has paid a portion of the bill, but has requested assistance with covering the remaining portion.

A single mom has secured housing mid July. She has 3 young children. She currently is employed and is attending a Bible study regularly. She has mentors set up to walk with her moving forward. She has saved and is 400 short on initial move in expenses.
