The client is a 50-year-old mother of three, aged 12, 13, and 14. The client was recently displaced from her home due to a domestic violence incident involving her spouse. She is currently working to re-establish stability for herself and her children after experiencing significant personal and financial loss. The client recently became unemployed and is seeking financial assistance to support her family. She has expressed an immediate need for basic household items, including a dresser for her bedroom, as well as support in obtaining school uniforms for her children, size medium for all three kids. Support from the Care Portal at this time would provide critical relief to the family, equipping them with essential resources needed to stabilize their current situation. *****NOTE: “This request is being submitted by the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County on behalf of the client. This request is on behalf of a Hope Florida participant that is a single mom. She is a devoted mother of a fourteen-year-old girl and a newborn son. They live in a modest apartment, and she is doing everything she can to create a stable and safe environment for her children. She is employed and works at FedEx and earns approximately $450 per week. She is experiencing hardship and is unable to purchase all the daily items that her baby needs. After the birth of her son, she was placed on maternity leave which significantly reduced her income. With her rent at $1,700 a month and the rising costs of utilities, food and essentials she is struggling to stretch every dollar to provide for her children. To make things even more difficult she is parenting alone without child support. She is the sole provider, protector, and nurturer. A role she fulfills with resilience, despite the emotional and financial toll. This mom is seeking assistance with diapers for her infant son. This will help with the high cost of diapers so she can reallocate what little money she has toward urgent needs-groceries, utility bills, and clothing for her daughter to return to school. Please help this family with needs and provide some financial relief to mom. Your help will allow her to stand more securely and continue pressing forward to improve a future for her family. Six children are residing with their aunt after being homeless for quite some time. They are working on reunifying with their parents. At this time, the aunt is in need of a trundle bed and two mattresses to fit the bed and the trundle. They also need bedding for each mattress. This must be a twin size trundle bed so that it fits the family's home. The beds will move with the children if reunification occurs. Additionally, the two youngest children are 4 and 7. A five-point harness car seat and a booster seat are needed for these children. Again, this will move with the children if reunification occurs. The aunt is very proactive and has been a support for the children for a long time. She is happy to have them in her home and know that they are safe. She is a young woman who did not expect to be caring for six children at once. Help meeting these needs would be greatly appreciated.

Two young children were placed in the care of their maternal grandparents recently. The grandparents have a large spare bedroom for the children to share. There is closet space, but they do not have an extra dresser or chest of drawers to put the children's clothing in. They are in need of one large dresser for both of the children's clothes. Assistance with a dresser would help the placement financially, as they now have childcare expenses that they didn't have previously. A dresser will also help keep the children's bedroom clean and organized.

The family is in need of some financial assistance to help due to recent medical appointments which has not allowed them to work. Car stopped running, they are not sure what it is, and need it fixed due to this is their only reliable transportation. They are limited with family support. Their push mower blade just broke as well and need it fixed. Due to transportation out of order they need dumpster or truck to haul off trash.

Mother had her items stolen, including her phone. She has been working hard to get back on her feet for the sake of her daughter. We are reaching out to the community for help in replacing her phone and supporting her in providing food for her daughter. A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
