Imagine being a child suddenly placed in an unfamiliar home, carrying nothing but uncertainty. In times of placement crisis, having a safe, comfortable space to sleep and basic necessities can make all the difference in helping a child feel secure and cared for.

We are asking for community support to provide essential items that will bring comfort and stability to these children during a difficult transition. Your donations of dressers, nightstands, pillows, mattress protectors, pajamas, socks, and baby essentials like bottles and pacifiers can help ensure that every child has a warm, welcoming place to rest while in transition. Outdoor toys and games will allow them a chance to simply be kids, and cleaning supplies like Clorox wipes, bleach, and gloves will help keep their environment safe and healthy.

Every item donated helps create a sense of home for a child in need. Together, we can give them more than just a bed—we can give them comfort, security, and hope.

The family decided to care for the 15-year-old and became committed to providing him with a stable and supportive home. Since his arrival, the family has had to double their grocery and household expenses. The caregiver has slowly been buying him a new wardrobe, as his previous clothing was too big. Additionally, the caregiver’s husband, a tree trimmer, has faced a slowdown in business due to the weather and the holiday season. However, they are confident that their financial situation will improve as his work has begun to go back to normal. The caregiver is requesting $1,500 in rental assistance to help them get back on track. With this support, they are hopeful they can stabilize their finances and continue providing care for the child.
