This Grandmother has been raising her granddaughter, who is 16 for the last 4 years,who has had a rough life and she has suffered a lot of trauma. She's been hospitalized a few times and is under therapy, she retired several months ago and is on a restricted income. Caregiver is also caring for her 90 yr old Mother who needs a lot of care and supervision. She needed to move her mom to New York with her daughter and the moving coast and traveling coast has taken a toll and is unable to pay for her rent of $2,028.00 She is hoping she can get help with her rent so she can catch up with all the other bills and coast of the new living arrangements of her mom so she can focus on her Granddaughter mental services and supoort.

Husband and wife received a niece straight from the as a new born 3-23-24 she just turn 1yrs old and two months ago they placed her 2 year old brother 12-17-22 they have both been cleared for adoption and are planning to adopted the both unfortunately both have severe medical needs, the had to move to accommodate the new addition and need a lot of help wife has to be a full time caregiver and the husband works, with the coast of living it has been hard to get basic home items. Breastfeeding mother needs refrigerator with freezer. Baby was born last week, and the family's fridge has stopped keeping milk and other food cold. Family is willing to take any size of fridge as long as it works well and has a freezer.

A case manager is requesting support for two siblings—an 11-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy—who are currently in custody and residing with relatives in South Carolina. The children were previously living with their custodial aunt, who recently passed away. Following her death, they re-entered custody due to the absence of any local relatives able to take them in. Sadly, the case manager had to bring them back to Maury County on 5/6 to visit their mother, who is on life support, so they can say their final goodbyes. They will be returning them to their caregivers Friday 5/9 . While they have since been placed with extended family in South Carolina, the process of setting up financial support has taken longer than expected. The relatives caring for them have already covered significant upfront costs, including after-school care, school supplies, and school-related fees, and are now in need of additional assistance. The Family Service Worker (FSW) is requesting $200 for each child to help the family purchase appropriate clothing for the local weather and school requirements. Although the family has the means to continue caring for the children, this one-time assistance would help ease the financial burden until formal support payments begin in the coming weeks. We would love to have them lovingly cared for as they shop for their needs during such a difficult time. Social Worker can assist with shopping on Wednesday afternoon 5/7.

The school has been working with a mom who was reunified with her children about a year ago. As a single parent she has needed extra support in keeping up with all of her kiddos and their needs. They've recently been accepted to move into a more affordable home at the beginning of June but they had to move out of their current place earlier than that. They are in need of a hotel room to hold them over until their rental is ready for move in. (The landlords are actually from MP!) The hotel is $84/night and we are hoping to cover 5 nights. There are several other churches claiming other nights as well!

This request is for a young adult female currently in her junior year of high school, who experiences ongoing financial hardship within her family. She plays a significant role in caring for her younger sister, who has special needs. Despite these responsibilities, she maintains consistent school attendance and holds a part-time job. However, the job is located far from her home and provides limited hours.

She has expressed interest in applying for jobs closer to home that may offer more consistent hours, but she faces transportation challenges. The family car recently broke down, and she currently depends on others outside the home for rides, which has proven unreliable. She is looking for a bicycle or another form of transportation to help her access more stable employment opportunities.

This is a single mom who is currently pregnant and due at the beginning of June. She has requested an infant car seat and a stroller. She is moving into a shelter this week. Mom lacks a support system and is trying to rebuild a better life for herself and her child.

We have a beautiful new family that arrived last week from Afghanistan. They came with nothing and currently the government funding is not available. we have helped the family secure housing and most of the furniture needed. they hopefully will move into the apartment in the next few days.

I am advocating for a mom of 2 who has had a stroke paralyzing her left side. While ordering a wheelchair for her, we discovered she is sleeping on a mattress on the floor. This mom has had three back surgeries and needs her bed high enough to be comfortably transferred in and out of bed and to be able to rest well. She is very humble and grateful for any help she may receive.
