This family consists of a father who recently completed a substance abuse residential treatment program and obtained his own apartment in Schenectady. He is currently working with the department to reunify with his daughter (3). He is currently seeking couches for his home living room in order to progress visits into his home.

The youth is placed with grandparents and has been struggling with behaviors in the home and at school. The agency is working with the grandparents to provide needed services for the family. The grandparents are currently caring for two of the grandchildren, who are teenage sisters. The youth in need, has been signed up for a local recreation league softball team through the YMCA. The family is in need of softball equipment. The youth is a 15 yr old female, who requires medium size black softball pants, size 7 cleats (she would like them in pink if possible), helmet, softball glove and softball bat. Thank you!

We have a sweet mom that has been through a tough situation. This mom of four has left a domestic violence situation. She has secured housing through KHRA. Mom is consistently working but is not receiving any financial asstance from the father. She was able to pay the down payment and partial rent for the apartment, but has 581.00 that is due as of April 1st. Mom spent the last of her money to pay her car payment. Mom is doing all she can at this time. If able to help, a payment can be made directly to KHRA. Thank you in advance for considering this family.

Yes we do go to local food banks frequently however my wife just recently went through a very traumatic pregnancy and our son arrived 6 weeks early and spent 5 in the NICU and we were driving 40 miles to and from the hospital. We have a foster family of 7 with a baby due on May 3rd who is in need of help deep cleaning their home. They have a house full of teenage boys who do a good job on chores BUT they are teenage boys after all... These parents would love if an individual or group would be interested in doing a super deep clean so they can have a healthy, clean home for their baby's arrival.
