Single mom with twin boys that were born 12 weeks early and are staying in the NICU for now. Looking to equip this mom with a twin bassinet to provide a safe-sleeping environment for when they are discharged. The mom is our client, who is working with multiple programs to turn her life around. Thank you for your help in advance!

There is a 10-year-old child who needs to have two of his teeth extracted. The 10-year-old child had his first consultation today and the dentist is recommending that the two teeth which have been causing him pain be removed. The child currently has no Medicaid and is in need of help to alleviate the pain that he has been in. If there is anyone who can help the child that would be great. The child's mother has been attempting to have the kids receive Medicaid for some time but has been denied in the past and is currently waiting for a caseworker to review her application. The child's mother is a single parent who is working to care for herself and two other children.

A widowed mother of 7-year-old twins is entering our agency's transitional living program and needs a twin bed frame and mattress. Other agencies that assist with beds have long waiting lists, but her need is urgent so that both her children have a place to sleep (she has only one twin bed at the moment.) We are asking for assistance with this need.

Kinship. Caregiver is single and she is taking care of her niece. Caregiver recently move into a bigger home with more space for her niece and she is in need of a sofa. Prior to having her niece placed in her home the Caregiver’s mother had custody of child. The caregivers mother passed away in September 2024 and the child was placed with the Caregiver in October 2024. The caregiver has been a bit overwhelmed with expenses for the child as well as the loss of her mother. By providing this caregiver and her niece with a sofa it will create a comfortable environment for the family and will ease financial strain on the caregiver. This will also allow the caregiver the ability to concentrate on other costs she must pay. The caregiver is currently employed and will be able to sustain the household after this need is met. The caregiver is requesting a sofa from Nadar’s LA popular furniture. She can provide the information for the sofa when she is contacted.

This family with 6 children. The home is in a mess and we are trying to make it a safe place for the children. A dumpster is needed for clean up and anything toward this would be greatly appreciated thank you. The total is $400.00

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.

There is a family within our church who is changing their housing situation. They need help with their electric deposit to insure their housing situation.
