I am working with a mother of two children who was victim of Domestic Violence. The offending parent had the electric bill in his name and did not pay the bill. He was arrested and is no longer in the home. She received a disconnect notice, saying it had to be paid by 6/30/2025 and it was disconnected today. She has attempted to dispute the early disconnection with RPU; however, they have informed her that they could disconnect any time prior to the 30th. She applied for emergency assistance, however due to the early disconnection, has not yet received a reply as she had assumed she'd have more time to gather funds. She is the sole taker of her 2 children in the home, one who just went into remission from Leukemia. Helping her with this will help ensure the safety and well-being of the children so that they can have an operating refrigerator and air conditioner. She has limited funds to plan for back up resources to keep her food and home cool. Level of urgency marked as "normal", however prompt attention, if possible, would be appreciated.

I am working with a single mother of five. This family came to our agency to correct issues of neglect. This mom has been struggling with finances for an extended period. My client recently lost her employment, and I would like to provide her with resources to support her family. Family wants support with removing junk from their home. They have run some estimates for junk removal with the lowest priced company, which is an estimate of $700 to remove the desired items from the home. This assistance will help the family maintain the safety and wellbeing of the children.

This family is in need of a twin-size mattress only (no box spring). However, the mattress cannot have springs of any kind in it. This single parent has worked hard to find out what works for her son and his special needs, and no springs is it (when it comes to beds). They have made his current mattress last as long as they could, but he is having difficulty sleeping on it at this point. A new mattress would allow for better sleep for both of them, which only improves their days.

Family is in need of a booster car seat for their 4 year old child and have very limited financial resources to be able to purchase.

17 year-old is reuniting with bio-family after family and foster placements didn't work out. They do not have enough beds for all the kids, and would like help obtaining 2 twin beds (frame, mattress, and box spring). Any amount of help would be so greatly appreciated. This family has been through a lot, and this agency is so excited that they are being reunited.

Single parent with two daughters. One daughter has had mental health issues. Mom took off work to focus on daughter got behind in rent and was evicted. Grandmother also came from out of state to help the family in previous home, when she arrived she brought bed bugs with. Once evicted they moved very minimal items into the new apartment due to the bed bugs. Currently the two daughters are sleeping on air mattresses and mom has queen mattress on the floor. Mom would like a frame with box spring or frame that does not need a box spring for her current mattress. Girls each need a twin bed with frames. The family is also in need of sitting/living room furniture like a couch and/or a few sitting chairs.

Family of 7, soon to be 8, is moving from a small apartment to a home of their own on July 1st. With this larger home and a new baby on the way, this family would greatly appreciate any support with home furnishing items to get them started!

I'm requesting a bunkbed for the children as they currently do not have a bed to sleep in.

Child with developmental and physical needs. Has a new adapted bike, but this bike needs a hand brake for her to safely use the bike. Cost is 123.75 and I can provide a link for payment if this need is granted.

A kinship placement is looking for a bike for a teenager. This would strengthen the family by allowing the teen an opportunity to cope with biking as well as independence for socializing and appointments. A gender neutral or male bike would be preferred. It is okay if the bike is used. It would also be helpful if there was a bike lock, too.

I am working with a single mom to a one year old child. Kiddo is in foster and visits with mom regularly. Mom is doing well and recently moved into supportive housing. Mom is looking for three tension baby gates with doors, four French doorknob locks, and a door stopper.
