Family stepped up to take in a child in foster care so that he can remain in his school district and Graduate. The youth will be turning 18 on 5/2/25 and is a graduating senior. This family initially agreed to take the child into their home under the impression that the bio-mother would help support financially in the form of additional groceries and day-to-day essential items. When the child was placed in the home the bio mother disappeared and has not engaged in any contact with the Department or the Fictive Kin placement. Child was placed in this home on 4/15/25 and will need to stay until he is able to leave care on his 18th birthday (5/2/25). We are asking for grocery cards, or various gifts cards to assist the family through the end of May.

She lost her daughter in a tragic car accident, which led to a deep depression and significantly impacted her mental health. This profound loss prevented her from attending to her finances, resulting in mounting debts and utility bills.

With the support of Navigator program client was referred and has found therapeutic services that have been instrumental in helping her cope with her grief and regain her self-sufficiency. Through these services, she has made remarkable progress and has recently secured employment. However, she is still struggling to catch up financially and urgently needs assistance with her utility bill as it is in the verge of disconnection.

We are reaching out to compassionate community members and organizations like yours to seek additional support. Your generous donation can make a profound difference in her life, helping her to stabilize her financial situation and maintain essential utilities. We’re reaching out with a special opportunity to make a life-changing difference in the life of one of the youth currently staying in our emergency shelter. This young person has been working hard to move forward and build independence—and is now ready to take the next big step: earning their driver's license.

In order to do this, they need to complete a certified driver’s education course, which costs $350. This training is not just about driving—it’s a pathway to employment, college, and freedom that many of us take for granted.

Positive Impact International operates six emergency youth shelters here in Gwinnett County, serving homeless and at-risk youth ages 12 to 21 — including parenting youth, foster youth, and those with special needs.

Right now, all of our shelters are at full capacity, and we are seeing a growing number of youth coming to us facing food insecurity. Many arrive hungry and in survival mode, and one of the most immediate ways we can show them love and care is by providing warm, healthy meals.

We are humbly asking for your help. We're hoping to collect $250 Kroger gift cards (one per home- 6 total) to help stock our kitchens with fresh groceries — fruits, vegetables, proteins, and healthy snacks that support the physical and emotional healing of our youth.

We have a very sweet 17yo who just moved to a new foster home and school district, and is trying to be independent. They are in need of a cell phone, preferably iphone - per their request :) , that will work on wifi. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, but something that will help them connect with the friends they're making at their new school, and help them be available/accessible while they're job searching. This child has no parents involved and is truly trying to do well and prepare themselves for adulthood. Please let us know if anyone can assist. Thank you!

Hi! We need your help! Our Foster family has recently accepted a sibling group of precious and rambunctious boys in their home. This foster family also continues to care for and support another sibling group that recently reunified with their mother by watching the children when their mother works overnight shifts. We would love to support our foster family by sending them a trampoline with a net to encourage regulated play and a safe space to expend energy as the children are acclimating to their new normal. This family consists of the mother, the husband, and their 5-month-old baby. They need our help because recently the husband was working cutting trees and a branch fell on his neck, leaving him bedridden and needing rest for a period of 2 to 6 months. The mother is taking care of her husband and baby and cannot work, so they need help with their house rent, which amounts to $1,000.

Mom and two children need residency. They have been experiencing homelessness since last year, and need help finding permanent shelter. Mom stated that she was able staying in a hotel, but was unable to keep up the payments for the room.

Hello I am requesting help for one of my families who is not able to pay her rent this month. This mother is pregnant and has 4 other children. Mom is unfortunately going through a very difficult situation with her children's father and has no support from him at this time. Mom is not able to find employment at this time due to the stage of her pregnancy. Mom is in her third trimester and is due at anytime. Mom is requesting assistance for 1250 which is the amount she is responsible for. This is going to be her situation for the next three to four months.

Hello! We need your help! A 16 year old boy who was placed with our agency reunified with his biological mother at the beginning of the year, and his foster family maintains as his support system. He wants to go to the summer camp with his friends from church and we would love to locate support to make this possible for him.

The camp costs $695 for the week & $100 of that is due at registration to reserve the spot.

This assistance is for a single mother with a 7-month-old baby. The mother is looking for a computer to be able to work remotely but does not have the resources to buy one and move forward. This mother has overcome and achieved many goals, and I would like her to be able to obtain this computer to help her continue achieving her goals as she has been doing so far.
