Single mother with four children and part-time job is facing a significant financial hardship due to a combination of factors including limited income, high childcare costs, and the responsibilities of being the sole provider. Due to a lack of furniture in the home, many of the kids items are laid out on the floor for the time being. This family is in need of a new dresser for the children's room where they can store their clothes, toys and other accessories. Link is attached below

Single unemployed mother living with her son in the Bronx needs support with furniture at home that will allow her child to work comfortably in a home-school setting. Child currently has an IEP, and is enrolled in both physical therapy and psycho therapy. . The child's biological dad is incarcerated. The family has experienced DV in the past and have lived in emergency shelter at one point. Mom is committed to helping her child succeed and overcome any obstacles they have faced. We are submitting this request because a very wonderful church community discovered an unmet need for our family (a young, single mom raising a toddler.) The dressers she has for herself and her baby are inadequate to the task and need to be replaced. Our family is incredibly grateful for the assistance she is receiving and that gratitude translates to more energy for the important things she is doing to improve life for her son. He will grow up in a family that knows gratitude -- an important foundation of spiritual fitness.

This young mom gave birth to her baby prematurely and has therefore not had enough time to prepare for his arrival into this world. She unfortunately does not have the time to work as she is enrolled in school full-time to get her education. She is requesting some baby wipes, size 3 diapers, baby bottles, baby formula (any amount is fine as long as it’s Enfamil please) and some snacks for when she doesn't have the time to feed herself.

A Mom with an 8 year old daughter is requesting assistance to find an apartment in the N. Shore of Staten Island. She has a Housing Voucher and was looking for an apartment to rent. She was in a Shelter in Queens and is recovering from a Domestic violence situation. Any assistance to help this Mom and daughter find safe housing would be appreciated. Thank you.

Parents lost their 2-month-old daughter on June 8th. Both parents have been navigating through the loss emotionally but are requesting support financially to cover expenses. Funeral services is set for June 30th, 2025, in New York. But the burial is set to happen in Maryland. They have 7 children that would attend the New York services, any financial support would be appreciated from the family as these are difficult time, and the tragedy occurred rapidly.

ACS is working with a single mom with 5 children who has been living in a DV situation. The father is no longer in the home and the mother has asked for a safety transfer. She has no furniture and everything they have is packed in a living room as she wats for the transfer. Mom and the children are sleeping in one room and have no air conditioning. She is desperate for some relief for her and the children and is asking for one a/c so they can sleep more comfortably. The children range from 10 months old to 14 years old. The children also need summer clothes.

Single head of a household that is experiencing financial hardship. Mom is not working mow due to alot of medical issues. Mom has horrible back, shoulder pains,.She is on auto immune medications. She recently was put on heart monitoring. She has 2 sons ages 4 and 7. They have out grown their toddler mattresses and would like to have assistance in getting them new mattresses. She has had a bunk set donated with no mattresses and at this time she don't know when she could get them. Your hrlp will be very much appreciated

This mom is a member of the LGBT community. She has a teen son. This request is not for him. This mom was recently awarded custody of 2 autistic children. The boys foster mom was a great friend. She died and she left the children for her guardianship . The boys biological mother has HIV and doesn't have the will or capacity to care for them. Without this moms acceptance these boys would probably be separated . With the help of family and friends she has gotten them clothing since she brought them down from upstate. She is staying with her mom in Brooklyn and they are sharing a couch . Although mom is working and finding accommodations for child care she is still lacking and has needs . Although mom was awarded guardianship she was not given any financial assistance . She needs beds , bedding, dressers, pull-ups and wipes . Both boys are non verbal , have sensory issues and have very picky eating habits . Please pray for this family. She has begun to take the boys to church after years of not feeling welcomed there, but she stated that they must have a foundation . Please help support this selfless mom who has changed her life for the betterment of others .

As the hot summer months approach, we have a family in need of Fans (2 if possible, for separate bedrooms areas). The apartment is very hot with no proper circulations.

A single mother with no extra support from family members. She work full time goes to school full time to provide food, clothes, shoes and women essential for me and her daughter 10 year old .
