Youth joined a small group through the youth program at the church and they communicate via phone. So at this time, he isn't able to fully participate in the church support group.

Mom with two young kids had their daycare home burn down and while we are able to help her get most things replaced a double stroller is something the mom could really use. Mom has a 2 year old and a 4 month old.

A single mother I am working with has been having significant bed bug issues in her apartment building and is not able to pay for treatment herself. The building has been treated but she needs to get rid of her mattress, as she has recently seen bugs there again and is no longer able to sleep in it. I am hoping to provide her with a new Queen mattress, as she recently broke her leg and is struggling to continue sleeping on the couch due to the discomfort it is causing. She is unable to walk currently and thus unable to work, so she has been struggling to make sure her and her son's needs are cared for. A new mattress would allow her to get rid of her current mattress, as she has it separated and has not seen any sign of bugs in her sons mattress. He has a protective cover over his mattress, so If possible a cover for the new mattress would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a mattress on amazon that could be shipped to her directly, so that no person needs to enter the unit. We are hoping this brings her one step closer to having a comfortable living environment while she recovers from a broken leg. Go To Link

Now, they have another sleeping arraignment that is not adequate for long term use. This may seem like a small request, but for this family, it represents stability, structure, and safety. It would give the children a sense of security and support for the father who is doing everything to be a supportive caregiver.

Hello, I’m reaching out on behalf of a single mother who is currently facing a very difficult situation. Recently, there was a flood in her apartment, and unfortunately, both of her children’s mattresses were severely damaged and are no longer usable.

She is doing everything she can to provide for her family, but as a single mom, finances are already stretched thin—and replacing two twin-size mattresses simply isn't something she can afford right now.

Her children, who are both still quite young, need a safe and comfortable place to sleep. If anyone is able to donate new or gently used twin mattresses, or contribute in any way toward helping her replace them, it would make a world of difference to this family.

V is a mom and grandma working hard to care for her two children and one grandson. She fell behind on her electric bill due to an illness and missing work and now it's shut off. They were able to stay last night at a friend's house but that's not feasible to do again. Any amount helps to stabilize this family and help prevent the need for foster care!

one of our church members car was repossessed this weekend after already having been charged off months ago. they are requesting help with the amount of $5,000. This is the amount we were behind in payments, plus the fees to get it out of the impound lot.

A single mom is working hard to make ends meet and just recently got a job. She is trying to provide the best she can for her kids. Since not having steady income she has fallen short on getting things that are needed. She could use some help with diapers for one of the kids. If you are able to help please let me know.

There is a 30-ish year-old young man living at apartments in Castle Rock. He is paralyzed from the chest down and in a wheelchair. He was granted special permission to be at these apartments even though he doesn't qualify due to his age. He receives food from Help & Hope on a monthly basis when they visit him. His family lives in Elizabeth and has even less money than this young man. It is noted that sometimes he will give his money to his mom/dad so they can eat.

Help & Hope has been going to this gentleman's apartment on Wednesdays when they deliver food to him, and have been making his bed and doing light chores for him.
