We are reaching out on behalf of a loving great-grandmother who has stepped up in a time of need to care for her young grandson. She was the only family member both willing and able to provide him with a safe and stable home. Recently, her roommate moved out, leaving her with the full responsibility of the household expenses. As a result, she is now in urgent need of $400 to cover rent this month. We’re asking our community to come together and support this family during this critical time. Any contribution, big or small, would make a meaningful difference in helping them stay in their home. This child has no other available placement options, and this is the only placement the child has requested. The child would greatly benefit from staying in this placement due to being kinship.

A foster home who is housing two girls, ages 2 and 3 years old, need four safety gates in the home. The home layout is open; the children could easily reach areas where they do not need to be. Fulfilling this request will help the foster parents ensure their children’s safety. Thank you.

The family has a teenage daughter with erratic behaviors that are beyond typical teenage rebellion. Our agency has become involved due to her behaviors. The parents have been found safe and to be trying their hardest with their child, even with multiple therapies and missing work to watch her. The parents are struggling from lack of sleep due to staying up all hours of the night to monitor her. The parents are financially struggling due their employment suffering. It has suffered due to needing to be around child and not leave her alone, causing the parents to lose jobs and the mother specifically is fighting stress induced medical problems from this. The family is in need of surveillance cameras and door alarms to help monitor her activity and deter dangerous behavior. TP cameras from TAPO (amazon) are good options for solar outdoor camera and battery powered indoor. Door alarms should not have a button for her to disable but have remote control or app control. The parents may be able to help determine which exact camera and door alarms would be helpful.

A 7 year old female was just reunified with her biological mother. The mother has full time employment but is still struggling financially. The two are living in a home with a one-bedroom closet. The family would benefit from having a dresser or cube storage organizer.

The mother and her five children escaped an abusive situation within the last few years. With her family’s support, she moved them hundreds of miles away to keep them safe from further violence. Now a single mom working two jobs, she only has time off for illness or appointments. Their five-bedroom house has just one small AC unit in her room, and they use floor fans to cool all the kids. The mother urgently needs two 5,000 BTU air conditioners for the children’s bedrooms and one larger unit for the living area. The kids are in summer programs during the day, but one child cried because it’s too hot to sleep at night. Any help with these air units would make their home safe and comfortable.

HI! We are working with a sibling group of 3 kids placed with their aunt and uncle. They have been in and out of DHS custody throughout their lives. The request is for the eldest 11 yr old daughter. She has continually filled the void left by her absent and overwhelmed mother. She has taken on the adult roles and responsibilities, particularly emotional & practical caretaking, for her siblings, and parents before she was developmentally ready. She has had little opportunity to be a child. She is extremely strong & courageous. She is very intelligent, energetic, creative and kind. The request is for $400.00 to pay for her to attend camp. It is an overnight summer camp in the Arbuckle Mountains of Southern Oklahoma. Campers ages 7-16. This camp provides adventure, learning, growth and fun! Variety of activities include Hiking, Rock climbing, Swimming, Paddle boarding, Kayaking & canoeing, Archery, Recreational games, Campfire ceremonies, and Horseback riding. Gaining skills and confidence to propel her forward in life, exploring her potential and building confidence. It will be a journey of personal growth while creating unforgettable memories and friendships. The Summer 2025 Overnight Camp is $950. for a One-Week Session in July 2025. DHS applied for financial assistance, and we hope to get everything covered except the $300. We would love if you could help!

Kinship placement is requesting assistance purchasing a swing set for placement child diagnosed with autism. If this need is met, the child will be able to get essential vitamins and daily exercise while being in the safety of the fenced in backyard. This will also allow the child to disconnect from the digital world.

Kinship provider requesting a day bed for teenager placed in the home. Teenager needing day bed to allow more space in bedroom. If met, the teenager would have more space when personal time is needed. Child would also be more comfortable in Kinship home which would help preserve the placement.

A single mom of two lost her job in December. She has recently taken placement of her niece. She is needing help paying her rent this month. She has a new job but is trying catch up financially.

There is a kinship foster family in need of a crib for a newborn. Any assistance in acquiring a crib and a mattress, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
