We have been working with a single mother of twin boys. They are now 3 months old but have just reached 9 and 10lbs (preemies) She left an abusive relationship (has a protective order against the bio-father) and is meeting the twins needs. Bio-father is not assisting financially in any matter. She has had difficulty getting into a WIC appointment (Her job wasn't allowing her to take any additional days off to get the service going- she has since started a new job) and the twins being born early are on a specific formula- Gentle Ease Neuro Pro-- Mother has been paying out of pocket since the twins have come home from NICU. Mother has an upcoming WIC appointment, but it is not until June 18th. Requesting cans of formula to assist in offsetting the cost until she can get the WIC appointment. Mother is feeding 7 scoops of formula for every 5 oz of milk, so she is utilizing two large cans every couple of days. Mother also feeds the twins simultaneously and is holding them, burping simultaneously. Mother could benefit from a twin baby carrier (She could wear this and it could help stable the twins during feedings, burping, and mother juggling two babies. Online there are several different options for twin carrier that a mother wears. Babies are still in infant stage

Kinship home is requesting assistance getting a bed for placement child. The child is requesting a twin bed to fit in the bedroom. If this need is met, the child will have a better sleeping environment which would improve the overall well being of the child. Also, it would alleviate the financial burden for kinship placement.

A teenager placed in a shelter has had a growth spurt and has outgrown his clothes; He is need of shorts, pants and underwear as what he has is to small for him. Sizes range from L to XL for underwear and shorts; pants would probably need to be athletic or sweatpants being size Large.

Dedicated foster mom of 6 is in need of a highchair for her newest foster child (male).

Family is in need of assistance with transportation and/or vehicle repair. Parents are unable to get to or from work as both of their vehicles have broken down. Family needs to be able to get to and from work to be able to earn the money to have their vehicles repaired. One vehicle needs a new alternator and the other has a radiator issue. The family has been quoted at $1,150 for the repair of the radiator. Family may also be open to assistance with obtaining public transportation passes for the commutes to and from work.

Blended family has stay at home mom with vehicle they are unable to fix. Dad works out of town with the running vehicle. Mom's vehicle parts have been purchased, however dad's hands are too big to fit where they need to, to be able to repair it themselves. They are not from the area, so they do not have family nearby that could possibly help. Mom states the parts include the head gasket seals and water pump. The vehicle is an Acadia. Thank you again.

Blended family starting life together, they have been able to get everything they need for their family except for a washer and dryer. They are using the laundry mat, but with such a large family, they are unable to afford a new washer and dryer and wanted to see if anyone maybe had an old set they no longer needed.

I have a household of three, mom is doing all she can to keep her family afloat. Recently, her life has been overturned: her work hours have been reduced, cutting deeply into her income. Compounding this challenge is her ongoing battle with medical issues, leaving her physically and financially strained. Once able to provide for her family with stability, she now finds herself scrambling to pay for the essentials, rent and is finding it hard just to keep a roof over their heads and maintain basic necessities. This family needs a helping hand to get back on their feet. Now, more than ever, this family is searching for a lifeline. A small act of kindness could make a world of difference, helping them bridge the gap and regain hope for a brighter future.
