CCS CUA 4 is seeking assistance for a kinship family that resides in Philadelphia, PA 19124. Child S is sharing a bed with the caregiver's daughter and Child A is sharing a pull-out.

The family is requesting a set of twin bunk beds, including the mattress and comforters to match.

Bedding is urgent to ensure child safety and avoid any co-sleeping.

We have a single 19-year-old first time mom with a newborn that lives in Philadelphia, PA. She has been feeling very overwhelmed as she navigates parenting without any familial support. While working with Safe Families, she has expressed deep gratitude for the support she has received from volunteers in the program. She is open to learning and receiving support in all aspects of her journey as a mom. We would love your help in supporting this mom with any household goods. Her top priority would be a microwave, a small table, and a dresser, but she could also use any cooking appliances, utensils, pots/pans, and sheets/blankets/bedding. We want her to feel more comfortable in her home with her baby and build this place with love! Any household goods or a gift card for Target/Walmart would be greatly appreciated!

In response, the mother has taken courageous and proactive steps to create a safe, nurturing environment—committed to protecting her daughters and keeping her family together.

To keep the girls safely in home, the family must meet basic housing and care standards. They are urgently in need of essential household items to create a clean, stable, and dignified living space for the children.

4 twin mattresses

4 bedding sets (pillows, sheets, comforters)

4 bath towels and 4face cloths (1 set per child)

These items will help transform the home into a safe place for healing and growth—and allow the sisters to remain together under their mother’s care.
