A family of four is in need of diapers (sizes 6 and 7), wipes, a pack-n-play, and a front facing car seat (for a 2-year-old). The family is currently experiencing financial hardship due to the father's incarceration. These items would help ease the load on the mother who does not have family supports in the city and is struggling to provide financially on her own.

A five-year-old male child has been placed in relative care as a result of an unsafe living situation. Placement is in need of new bedding for a twin bed they are currently using for him. Placement is in need of new twin size sheets, comforter, zipper mattress cover/protector, and additional pillow if possible (placement specified zipper for concerns of cleanliness, personal challenges, and bed bugs). Placement also expressed need for a new and age-appropriate booster, citing that the one they currently had saved is no longer safe and functional (cracked). Placement cited preference for high-back booster seat with five-point harness.

A grandmother is placement for her 9 grandchildren, ages 2 to 16. She is requesting a fire extinguisher. She is also requesting a medical lockbox for her medication.

Mother and her 7 year old daughter moved into their new house a couple months ago but have not been able to afford some furniture due to not being able to transport all of their belongings and financial strain. The 7 year old currently has an older bed, but the frame is broken, causing the mattress to slump on the floor. The child could use a new mattress, bed frame, and bed set. If possible, additional furniture items the family could benefit from to make their house a home is as follows: tv stand, couch, bath towels, hand towels, and rugs. Any help is appreciated. These items are necessary to create a safe, functional, and stable home environment for the children. A dining table and chairs will allow the family to share meals together, supporting routines and bonding that are vital for child development. A couch will provide a comfortable and appropriate space for the family to gather and rest. Due to financial hardship, the family is unable to obtain these items on their own. Providing this basic furniture will help meet the family’s immediate needs, promote overall well-being, and support ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and nurturing home for the children.

A family of three has stable housing, but they do not have any air conditioning in the home. The weather has been extremely hot recently with temperatures reaching nearly 100 degrees. The home is extremely hot and humid at most times. The family would like assistance in getting a large fan or an AC window unit for the home. The children are 9 and 16.

She is requesting clothing for her, as well, especially underwear, and she just became potty trained. She wears size 3T-5T.

Grandparents are placement for their 1-month-old grandson. They are requesting a crib for him to sleep in.

The family is in need of mattresses, bed frames, and dressers. The mother has worked hard to reunify with her children and is currently on a trial home visit. She has taken all the necessary steps and continues to provide a safe and stable environment, but the family lacks essential furniture. Providing these items would help support the children's transition and ensure they have a comfortable living space.

The family has an open in-home case with DCS. If Mom is unable to improve the family's quality of living there's a chance their case could change to a removal. There are 2 girls age 17 and 14, and three boys ages 12, 7, and 1 in the home. To no fault of their own, there was an incident where all of the electronics in the home were destroyed. Among those devices were five laptops. The children's school replaced four of the laptops. The fifth laptop, issued to Mom by her online school, was not replaced. Mom has learned her school doesn't replace lost, stolen or broken laptops. Mom is working on a Bachelor's degree in nursing and is scheduled to graduate in April. Her nursing training begins shortly after graduation. Mom is hoping to train at a rehabilitation facility or hospital trauma unit. With a 3.7 GPA, Mom is works hard to improve the family's financial stability. The entire family is excited about their future and the doors Mom's career choice will open. Mom is currently going to the public library to attend her classes, work on projects, and compete her homework assignments. When studying at home, Mom was able to manage her classes and care for her 1 year-old toddler. The time away from home drastically limits her availability to care for the youngest child. Mom has not been able to get CCDF and relies on family or neighbors to help her with childcare. This transition has been difficult one the little one causing a clam, loving child to now have concerning behaviors.
