She has expressed that the kids struggle to stay in their beds at night, and it has been recommended that one of the children use a weighted blanket to help regulate and feel comfortable while sleeping. 15 year old male youth needs a bed and mattress and sheets. The youth is reuniting with his older sister and the sister is needing assistance with a bed mattress and sheets. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. You can reach out to myself as I have found some items on Amazon.

Walton county is currently working with a biological father whose 2 teenage daughters are in foster care. At this time, Dad and his wife are visiting with the girls on a regular basis in order to continue to strengthen their relationship. The goal is for the girls to move into the home of Dad, Step-Mom and their half siblings and eventually exit foster care. At this time, when the girls are staying with their Dad, they are sleeping on air mattresses. The family has requested 2 twin beds and mattresses for the girls. The family would be open to used bed frames, even if they are not matching. The twin beds can be 2 single beds or bunk beds. The family would be open to donated mattresses if they are clean and would not create any issues in the home.

We are hopeful the girls will reside with their Dad and extended family soon and would love to support them in ensuring they have beds of their own. Thank you...

Walton County is working with a father whose children are currently in foster care. He has recently legitimated, joined family treatment court and is obtaining a place of his own through a community support program. Currently, he does not have his license. We are requesting a bike for him to use to make it a bit easier to get to and from his groups, court and work. Given he is also moving into his own space for the first time in some years, we would also like to support him with basic immediate needs. He reports he could use some wash cloths, bath towels, basic toiletry items (soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste), cleaning products and a coffee maker (a basic one ). We would also be open to gift cards (Amazon or Walmart) to allow him, with the assistance of his family treatment court support, purchase items on his own.

He is working so hard to reach reunification--we would love to support him!

In just three weeks, this mom is taking all five children to Disney World—a trip she has worked hard and saved for over time. Disney has generously offered fast lane passes to accommodate the children’s needs, but we would love to rally around her with additional support.

We are requesting assistance in purchasing a pair of high-index lens eyeglasses that are essential for a 15 year old boy's vision needs. Unfortunately the glasses are not covered by his insurance. I am reaching out to you in the hope of receiving support for a mother in need. She is currently living in a transitional home where her basic needs are being met until she gives birth. She is expected to give birth in approximately four weeks and will need a crib for her newborn. Once she is ready, she will be looking for a place to live independently.

I am assisting a grandmother is who lost her adult daughter and has taken in her 4 children. This time has been very difficult for her as she grieved her daughter. She had to take off from work to grieve but her bills fail behind during this process. She is now back to work but is facing eviction. She has come up with $1000 on her own but needs any help she can get towards her remaining balance of $2,000. Help with her rent would prevent homelessness for her and these children. Please lend a helping hand. She would appreciate it so much.

The mother does not have transportation, and the children have not had anything to eat. The family has tried reaching out to multiple food banks to assist but have been unsuccessful.

Hello! We need your help. One of our foster families has accepted a short-term placement of a teenage girl into their home. The foster child and the foster child's friend took money from the foster parents' biological sons, which totaled up to $175.00. The money is now gone, and the teenager is unable to have a stream of income at this time to pay them back.
