To help her transition to college life, she is seeking a few items such as a mini fridge and a microwave for her dorm in addition to an Amazon, Walmart or Target gift cards to purchase any other essentials such as a comforter set, a room fan, under bed storage, storage trunk, shower shoes, basic cooking/kitchen essential kit with silverware, white board, storage bags to transport clothes and portable handheld vacuum cleaner, etc.. Any support to help her succeed in this new chapter would be greatly appreciated!

Despite having excellent credit and a stable income, she is struggling to find an affordable place to live. Securing affordable housing is crucial for her to quickly take placement of the siblings, who are coping with the loss of their mother. Update: Erika from the Santa Clara Valley Japanese Church is now assisting with rent instead of utility bills, which were calculated as ($100/item x 4 = $400). However, the single mother still requires assistance with her utility bills please. Providing this assistance would help alleviate some of her stress and ensure her essential needs are met.

This is for a minor & her 8-month baby boy. This minor is funny, witty, smart, social, & insightful. She is a leader and makes friends easily. She is working hard to overcome trauma. As a young parent, she is open to learning new skills & supporting her baby’s development. She loves her happy, active, smiley baby! Having experienced foster care herself, she was devastated when her baby was temporarily removed from her & is striving to prioritize making decisions for her + baby’s safety. She is also expecting a second child and can benefit from a maternity body pillow so that she can get appropriate rest as well as items to support her to be more comfortable in her pregnancy. This minor has been impacted by the juvenile justice system and is working to remove barriers to gain employment.
