This request is on behalf of a Hope Florida participant that is a single mother of five children. This family needs your assistance to obtain clothing and shoes for the children which they need to attend school. This hard-working mom has fallen on hard times and is trying to pick up the pieces. She recently became employed part-time at Home Depot but has not yet received her first paycheck. The children's grandfather helps when he can to watch the children. This mom is expecting a newborn girl on 8/4/25 and really needs help to have clothing for the newborn when she comes home. Your help providing the ability for mom to purchase clothing will really help ease her mind as she would like to provide to her children much needed items. Your help with clothing for the children will help them be able to attend school. A gift card from Walmart, TJMaxx or Ross. A Walmart gift card for $500 would be the best choice as she can find a large variety of clothing there. Thank you, Care Portal churches your help which is crucial for people struggling financially.

Three children are being cared for in a safety plan by their grandmother. Mother was baker acted, and father was arrested. This was an emergency, and grandmother needs assistance with basic items like food for the children.

This is a family of 11 living in one home, 8 of those being children. It is a 3-bedroom and 1 bathroom home. They are located in Indiantown. The family has limited resources and is afraid of seeking help due to the parents in the home being illegal immigrants. They live in fear of deportation. The family would like help with repairs in the home that have been caused over time, they would appreciate extra food supply, the house has a good portion of bugs roaming the home due to openings through the air vents and trash inside/outside of the home. If the family were to receive this help it would help all children in the home have a healthier and more organized lifestyle. Only one parent is working in the home. The mother is home with all the children.

The mother and children are currently homeless, living in the car. The mother is also 31 weeks pregnant. The mother is not working due to lack of childcare and is struggling to find housing. The youngest child is less than a year old and the mother needs help with diapers and wipes for the child.

A single mother of four children—three of school age and one infant—was recently placed in temporary housing after previously living in her car. Despite her ongoing efforts to secure employment, including active participation in job search services through CareerSource Palm Beach County and her own independent search, she has been unable to find work. Her temporary housing arrangement is nearing its end, and without a stable income or transportation, she fears she and her children will be forced to return to living in her vehicle.

She is currently behind on her car payment in the amount of $553.12 and is seeking assistance to cover this past due balance. Maintaining access to her vehicle is critical, as it allows her to transport her children to daycare and summer camp, attend job interviews, and continue her search for stable employment. Supporting her in retaining her vehicle would significantly increase her ability to regain self-sufficiency and provide stability for her family.

The client is a 36-year-old woman currently experiencing multiple acute stressors. She recently endured a miscarriage, followed shortly by the loss of her employment. Despite these significant challenges, the client remains committed to continuing their engagement in services. The client is currently facing imminent eviction and lacks stable housing. She lacks both familial and social support. Additionally, financial hardship has led to the loss of her vehicle, limiting her ability to attend medical appointments and pursue employment opportunities. The client has expressed a desire to secure employment and maintain her medical care; however, she is currently unable to meet these goals due to limited access to essential resources such as transportation and internet connectivity. The client is behind in payment for her utility bills: cable/internet ($321.91), phone ($222.20) and electricity ($118.09). The mother is requesting a double-stroller for her girls ages 3yo and 2yo as she walks a lot with them since she doesn't have a vehicle any longer. She is also requesting a twin size mattress for a bed she obtained for the girls.

Single, mother of five, ages 1 y.o. - 16 y.o., employed part-time in retail, actively engaged in securing the safety and well-being of her children. Parent utilizing local and community resources, has managed to provide structure and guidance for her children. She spends her time chauffeuring children throughout the county to different programs geared toward high academic achievement, social and emotional well-being and socially responsible activities as both an investment in their future and a way of safeguarding against negative peer influence and community violence. At the moment, fuel cost is a threat to her ability to sustain these outlets for her children.

A 14yo who just found out she is 7 months pregnant is in need of any and all baby items. Her parents are able to help but they have a young child they need to care for as well.

The mother is single and caring for 7 children. Her children range from 1YO to 14YO. The children are currently sharing beds and could use bunk beds or individual single beds. The mother needs clothing for her 1YO, he fits 18-24 months. Gently used items are acceptable. She is also in need of a single high-chair and carseat for her 1YO. Gently used items are acceptable. Diapers and wipes would be helpful as well.

This family is facing hardship. The father was the bread winner in the home and he unfortunately passed away. The mother has been looking for a job but hasnt been able to find one. They mother has fallen behind on rent and can use assistance catching up

The relative care placement is seeking assistance with purchasing tablets for her nieces that were placed in her home. The caregiver would like the tablets for educational purposes and further to aide in the children's ability to improve the English language. The children are from Haiti.
