The client is a single mother who recently started over after leaving an abusive relationship. The client is doing her best with her 14-year-old and 4-month-old but has no outside support and can only work every other weekend. Her water was shut off two days ago, and she is urgently seeking assistance with the bill. She also needs basic household items for herself and her children, as she is starting from scratch. The client above is looking for a dresser for herself, her 14-year-old son, and 4-month-old daughter. The client is also in need for baby clothes for her 4-month-old. The mother recently left a home she was renting a room in because she believes her son was sexually abused. She is in between homes right now but is trying to find more permeant housing. I put in Hope Florida for her for that, but she is in need of clothing for her child and herself.

This grandmother is in dire need of assistance with her water bill. Her water has been shut off since 04/16/2025. She takes care of her one- and two-year-old granddaughters. Client is currently in a challenging relationship with her husband and is working toward gaining the independence needed to leave. For years, she has been a stay-at-home mother, as her husband discouraged and actively prevented her from working outside the home. When she previously attempted to take vocational courses, he would create obstacles to keep her from leaving the house or completing them. Now, as she begins the divorce process, she is determined to build a better future for herself and her two children. She recently completed a nail technician course in hopes of starting her own small business and regaining financial independence. Unfortunately, she does not have the resources to purchase the basic materials needed to begin working. Her greatest motivation is to earn her own income and create a safe, stable life for her children. The mother recently started a new full-time job and is in need of extra assistance with diapers and wipes for her baby.

The mother is a victim of domestic violence with two minor children in home ages 14 and 12. The mother is in of food for she and her children. The mother recently began a new place of employment and has not received her pay check yet. Additionally, the mother is one month behind in rent and is facing eviction if not paid by April 30th. Total rent needed is $1,200.00

A family is struggling to pay their phone bill. The family is involved in mandatory therapeutic services and needs to be able to contact their therapist and court case advisor on a weekly basis. Requesting funds for them to cover their phone bill, estimated at $95/month at least until they are expected to terminate services, around May 15th.

This is a family of 6. The parents have fallen on harden time after losing some household income. The family will be very grateful for assistance paying their light bill of $256 while they get back on their feet.

Unemployed single mother of teen boy and girl. Parent was laid off recently. Family in dire need of assistance with food, clothing for teenagers, personal hygiene items and shoes. Family demonstrates resilience in maintaining a strong and loving bond in the face of daily hardship.

Single mother who is currently in a DV shelter with her young son. Mom is in recovery for addiction. Long history of being a victim of domestic violence. Her exit date from the shelter is coming soon and needing help with housing.

The client is a hardworking grandmother who became the full-time guardian of her grandchild after the child’s mother passed away. With no strong support system in Florida, she works full-time and commutes by bus while her car is in the shop—all to provide stability and care. Her grandchild, a middle school Honor Roll student, is in urgent need of a laptop to keep up with schoolwork. Their only computer is old and too expensive to repair. The grandmother is also actively involved in the Triple P Program, showing her dedication to parenting and growth. A new laptop would make a world of difference, giving this bright student the tools they need to succeed. We are seeking help to assist the caregiver with funeral arrangements for the mother of the children, that the Department placed with the caregiver. The mother passed away suddenly on Friday April 3, 2025. This is an unfortunate and traumatic event for the family, and we are hoping to help and support them through this loss.
