Mission Viejo Christian Church

There is a young family that recently moved to the country and is currently living in a shared apartment. Because of this, the second-grade daughter doesn’t have a quiet or comfortable place to do her homework and she ends up doing her school work on the floor. To help create a better learning environment for her at home, we are requesting a small desk and chair for the student. This will make a big difference for her being able to get her work done. I am reaching out on behalf of a single mother with six children who is currently in need of support. The family was recently displaced from a room they had been renting and, thankfully, has now secured their own apartment. However, they are in need of essential household items to help make their new space livable and comfortable. Some of the immediate needs include: Microwave, Dining table, Pots and pans, Plates and utensils, Towels and blankets. Any assistance would be deeply appreciated and would make a meaningful difference for this resilient family as they work to rebuild their lives. Thank you for your time and consideration.

This is a resilient family of five who have faced significant housing instability throughout this school year. They have been forced to move four times, often living in doubled-up situations and renting single rooms from strangers. Despite these challenges, through determination and hard work, they have finally secured a home of their own. As they begin this new chapter, the family is in urgent need of several household items to help them settle in safely and comfortably. Their most immediate need is a baby gate to keep their twin toddlers safe. Additional items that would greatly help include a dining set, and plastic reusable drinking glasses. Any support or donations toward these essential items would make a meaningful difference for this family as they build stability and a sense of home. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.

On April 3rd a family lost their home due to a fire which is currently under investigation. They lost everything. They were only able to grab a couple of clothes. They are currently in need of a couch. Anything will help this family get back on track.

Family of 6 has been struggling due to loss of permanent housing, they lived in a hotel for almost a year. They just recently secured an apartment and a place to finally call home. Family needs bed frames for their mattress, sofa and a microwave. The parent feels this need being met will bring a feeling of safety and normalcy which will impact the school age child positively both emotionally and academically.

We have an opportunity to bless a lovely lady with two small kids that has just completed her transition from homelessness to getting an apartment of her own. She’s worked really hard and would love some assistance getting some basic pieces of furniture secured. We have been able to provide a queen size bed and frame as well as two toddler beds with mattresses and bedding for everyone. We still need some assistance finding two small dressers for this family.
