Faith Covenant Family Church

Parents are both working but have lost their overtime and had hours reduced. The mother was in a car wreck which totaled the family's car. They bought a new one, which was under warranty for six months. During this time, the engine quit and a new one was needed, however, it took some time to get the parts in. The parts were paid for, but the warranty company only paid $75 per hour for the labor and the labor was more than this. When they test drove the car after the repair, the differential went out and by this time, the car was no longer under warranty. The family live out an hour out of town but work locally. Due to their only car being in the garage, unable to pay to complete the repair, they are staying locally with friends so they can get a ride to and from work. There is no room for their children, so they are staying with a babysitter, who they have to pay $40 per day. They are also behind in this payment, and the father is unsure of how much. They have had their water and gas turned off, but the family is only asking for the car repair to be covered so they can get back on their feet and they can be reunited as a family.

We have a family of 3 that have accumulated a large water bill. Mom states that there was a water leak that has now been fixed; however, she has a water bill of $1700.00. She was able to pay $500.00 so she is still in need of $1200.00. She has reached out to social services and states that she cannot take out a loan. She appreciates any assistance.

This family works hard to make ends meet and they have some health screening needs. The family shares a student at BCHS and Valley Elementary and due to insurance cannot access dental appointments for more than a year out - part of the request would be for money to cover to youth dental appointments. The student at the high school needs an eye screening and glasses to help address being able to see during the school day. This student has faced almost unsurmountable challenges and has worked consistently to grow and change behaviors. If this request is met, it will help this student continue to learn, grow, and thrive in this community and help this family feel supported. We are grateful for the consideration of this request. This program positively impacts our community so much!
