Maternal aunt is a kinship resource for her two nieces and one nephew. She also has three of her own children in the home. In order to save space, the family is asking for two triple trundles with the middle mattress being a full size. One would be for the boys and one for the girls. There is no need for bedding as this was a care portal request already filled. The family would greatly appreciate this request. We are currently assisting a family in urgent need: a 17-year-old young man and his mother, who are relocating to a new borough due to ongoing safety concerns in their previous neighborhood. This move was not planned but became necessary to protect their well-being and provide a safer environment for the son as he continues his education and personal development. He is scheduled to graduate in August 2025. The family has recently secured a new apartment; however, they are moving in with no furniture or household essentials. At this time, they are in immediate need of basic items such as beds, a table and chairs, a sofa, kitchenware, and food. The mother has expressed that they are starting over entirely and have very limited financial resources. She is doing her best to provide stability for her son but has no extended family or support system to rely on.

We are reaching out to the community and local organizations to ask for any support—whether through donated items, gift cards, or connections to local resources. Even the smallest contribution can make a meaningful difference for this family as they rebuild their lives.

We are currently assisting a single mother residing in Brooklyn who is caring for her four children. One of her daughters is actively enrolled in our mentorship program, and we have been closely supporting the family as they navigate significant challenges. The mother is facing ongoing housing insecurity and currently has extremely limited access to basic resources. She has exhausted her food stamp benefits and is unable to afford sufficient food for her family, placing them at risk of nutritional hardship. In addition to food insecurity, the family is in urgent need of essential home furnishings. One of the daughters does not have a dresser, and the family is also in need of three mattresses for the children. These items are critical to helping the family maintain a safe, organized, and dignified living environment. The mother has a scheduled appointment with the Human Resources Administration (HRA) in an effort to secure further support. In the meantime, we are seeking immediate assistance with the following: -One dresser for the daughter -Three mattresses for the children Providing these basic necessities would significantly reduce the stress this family is experiencing and greatly contribute to their well-being and sense of security. We deeply appreciate your consideration and any support you are able to provide during this critical time.

Single mother of 5, currently unemployed due to multiple surgeries including her hand, is behind in rent. She is currently facing eviction and is in jeopardy of having to enter the shelter system which isn’t ideal, especially with a 14 year old daughter who suffers from angioedema and is chronically in the hospital. Mom is currently in a back and forth battle with HRA due to them sending payments to the wrong management office, yet management is still holding mom responsible for the back rent. Any support towards helping this family would be greatly appreciated ”

We are currently working with a family that consists of two adults, and three children(7, 5, and 6 months old). This family continuies to struggle with putting food on the table due to multiple factors including lack of transportation and lack of income. They are in need of food for the weekend and formula for the 6 month old(Similac Sensitive formula with iron). The mother is trying to work on getting her TA case set up so she has assistance with food and formula moving forward.

A single father has sole custody of his three daughters, ages 11, 2, and 1. As the weather has gotten warmer, the girls' bedroom is very warm and the girls have a hard time taking naps and sleeping at night. The dad is asking for a window unit air conditioner for the girls room.

We are having a Father Day's celebration on June 13, 2025. Were we have 9 father and their children's attend a luncheon on their behalf. I wanted to see if you have a men minister that can come out to speak to them maybe offer a father day gift.

Mother and her 2 children Female 11 and male 16 are in need of of full size beds. They just moved into a home.

Mother of 7 children living independently. Orange and Rockland was shut off. Mother must pay $2,500 for electric to be turned back on.

Mother and three small children are in need of one twin trundle bed (a twin bed with another twin bed stored underneath). They also need one twin mattress, one zipable waterproof mattress pad, three bed pillows, and three sets of twin bed sheets. The children are ages 6, 4 and 3. The six-year-old has special needs. He currently has a bunk bed that is unsafe and damaged. The child has a history of becoming injured while climbing up and down the bunk bed. He recently had surgery for club feet and is unsteady. The two younger are not able to safely use the bunk bed. The bedroom is very small and there is no room for three existing beds, so we are asking for a trundle bed. Mother does not have finances to fulfill this need on her own. Mother is also dealing health issues and is currently not able to work. *Please note in needs section I was not able to request "trundle bed twin". Thank you
