This family consists of a mother and her teenaged daughter. The family is in need of an air conditioning unit. Both mother and daughter suffer from a degenerative disease, which makes it difficult to work and provide income. The family is dealing with a recent loss of a family member, and they do not have any support from friends or relatives in Oklahoma. The temperature in the home can reach over 90 degrees in the Oklahoma summer heat, which becomes unbearable. A window A/C unit would provide this family with much needed relief.

I am working with a kinship placement of two children in the care of their maternal grandmother. Grandma works full time and has recently moved from an apartment to a house. Grandma does not qualify for SNAP LiHeap, or TANF and is experiencing financial difficulties. Grandma is requesting assistance on her gas bill that is currently past due. The gas bill of $304.32 was due on 06/27/2025. Grandma needs assistance with the water bill also, in the amount of $217.48, but it is not due until 07/12/2025.

Single foster mom with one foster child, one child in guardianship, and one child recently adopted. Foster mom has been a foster parent for almost six years and she works for the school system. Her tooth was chipped in the middle of managing her foster son's behaviors.

Looking for financial help to pay for the tooth to be fixed, for a dental resource that would work with her on a discounted rate, or other resource to help with getting the tooth fixed.

The Department is working with a mother of three, and she is currently needing assistance with her electric bill. She has been selling items to put towards the bill but has received a disconnection notice this week. This mother has also reached out to community resources, including filling out a LIHEAP application. For any assistance, I will connect with the mother directly. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I am asking that an organization assist a foster mother, and natural mother take the children to see "How to Train Your Dragon" at the Warren Theater in Broken Arrow. I am requesting the cost of admission for 4 and snacks at the theater. I always appreciate the assistance you provide to our children and families!

Teenage girl just hit her growth spurt and is needing some new clothes. She currently lives in a group home so she has limited access to clothes new or old or shopping trips. This teen loves anything girly and really likes colors. She loves the colors pink and black. She has currently put on a little weight and wants to be comfortable when she is at home. She loves to wear leggings and sweats. She loves hair accessories.

Parents are needing help starting their domestic violence services. They are both needing help with paying the assessment fee as they are currently between jobs and have not yet received unemployment. They are both trying to get started on their services as quickly as possible to try and get their two children home.

A new foster home is in need of home repairs after a serious storm caused a tree to fall into their home, a home they had only been in for 4 months after spending the last 16 months remodeling it to live in. A few days before the storm, the family had been approved to start taking in children and immediately took in a teenager. Just as the everyone is trying to settle. they now have damage that is so severe, they cannot live in the home. The family will have to have the home repaired very soon as their current living situation will not be feasible very long as foster parents. The foster family, with assistance of friends and family is able to do many of the repairs themselves, but are needing assistance with material costs. The family provided a detailed estimate of costs. The foster family has a background in home building. Most of the costs are for materials they need for tasks of the project they can handle. A few of the costs involve costs for labor, as there is certain things such as the roof, they need labor assistance with. I have an estimate provided by the family and I can share upon request. The family is appreciative of any help offered.

I have a kinship foster family who is currently in need of two tall, stand up, dressers for two boys! When the boys were placed in their home, they were given a dresser with fabric drawers that have since been falling apart. Foster parents have looked at every thrift store in town and haven't been able to locate any dressers. This would be such a huge help in keeping these two boys in their current placement, together, with family! Thank you for your consideration in helping with this need!!

Foster family is in need of a narrow car seat (Preferably a Graco SlimfitLX3) to allow them to transport all the children in one vehicle. Currently, they have to take two vehicles to transport all the children, but both foster parents work full time and their schedules are not the same. This makes doing stuff as a family outside of the house difficult. This is their first placement and they are very motivated and caring individuals, who are very attentive to the children's needs. The car seat is for a 1 year old.
